little bird, little bird, cried.

She said why am I a white swan
And why are you a black swan
Are we not alike?

Big Bird, Big Bird, cried.

She was rather strong all her life.

But on this day, she was terrified.

Terrified to show her younger sister the pain in her eyes.
Terrified to expose the hatred lies.
Terrified to speak ill-fully of another kind.
Terrified to see the reaction in her younger sisters eyes.

little bird, little bird, cried.

She insisted her older sister provide
An answer to her question, Why am I different than you and why are you different than I?

Big Bird, Bird, smiled.

Looking at her sister she eyed.

The strength in her un-alive
She whispered, because we are both special, you and I.

Just like no two humans are completely alike
We are different, unlike.

Different in resemblance but the same in correspondence
Different in size but the same in ability
Different in rank but the same in capacity
Different in strength but the same in durability
Different in intelligence but the same in faculty
Different in reality but the same in purpose, to fly!
