chapter 39

???'s pov.

The team that went to look at the cabin returned a few hours ago with amazing news. They found the subject! I'm so glad that we don't have to start from scratch again. From what i read from jake his reports, this subject should be extremly special. She could handle her powers sooner then he expected. That's what got him killed. He underestimated her. But i know better. I know who i'm up against. This extremly dangerous person will be tamed by me. I have the perfect plan for that! Of course it isn't fool proof. It all depends on how those people will react. That's why i'm working on a plan B. Maybe i could even think about a plan C aswell? Anyway, as long as i can make sure that the subject is captured again then it's fine by me. I don't care how much time it takes then. Suddenly the door to my office burst open and a guard stands there, trying to catch his breath. "Sir, th-the giant walker. It escaped!"

Chloe's pov.

It has been two days already. Alison says that it is normal and i also now that it is normal that she isn't waking up now. But that doesn't mean that i can't worry about her. I mean, we just got engaged! It's been almost a week now. I honestly can't wait to marry her. This beautifull, amazing and caring girl. Who wouldn't want to marry her!? I sigh and grab beca's hand again. "She's going to wake up pretty soon, chloe. I could feel how strong she was getting when i last contacted her." jason says. I look at him and smile. "I hope that she wakes up soon. I wanna see those beautifull blue eyes of hers." i say. Jason chuckles and sits down next to me. "You guys are honestly one of the cutest couples i know. I hope that i'll get a relationship like yours someday." jason says. I raise my eyebrow. "You also want to be in a lesbian relationship?" i ask with a teasing smile. Jason laughs and shakes his head. "You know what i mean chloe!" he says. I laugh a bit and look back at beca. That's when i notice that her eyes start to open. "Jason, she's waking up!" i say while i stand up.

Beca's pov.

I slowly try to open my eyes and look around a bit. I smile when i see chloe standing next to the couch i'm on. "Chlo." i say in a weak voice. Jason said that two days passed since i passed out, so that's probably why my voice sounds raspy and weak. Chloe gently sits down next to me on the couch and takes my right hand in her left, and pushes my hair behind my ear with her right hand. "Good morning, baby. How are you feeling?" chloe asks me. "Fine. A bit thirsty and hungry. My stomach also hurts tho." i say. "I got you some water and aubrey and stacie are heating up some chicken soup. It's going to be ready in a few minutes." jason says. He gives chloe the water bottle and then leaves the room with a smile. "Here you go." chloe says. She helps me drink a bit and then puts the water bottle on the table. "Jason told me that jesse is basicly dead." i say. Chloe sighs a bit and nods. "There's no way that he could have survived that. Stacie was furious with him. She beated him up and gave max the order to basicly feed him to the walkers. We don't know where kristen went. We sent her away on her own." chloe says. I close my eyes a bit and smile. "Well, i'm glad that they are gone." i say.

Stacie's pov.

"Hey guys. Beca woke up and she's probably going to be hungry. Can you guys make her something light or something?" jason asks me and aubrey. I stand up and nod. "Yeah, sure. I'm pretty sure that we have chicken soup somewhere around here. I'll heat it up and bring it to her." i say with a smile. Jason smiles and grabs a water bottle. "Alright. I'm going to bring them a water bottle and then i'm going to take a nap. Being in someone their mind a lot makes me tired." jason says. He leaves the room and aubrey stands up. "Are you going to heat it up or should i do it?" aubrey asks me. I smile and shake my head. "I'll do it. It's fine." i say with a smile. Aubrey opens the cabinet and gives me the chicken soup. "I'm glad that she's finaly awake." aubrey says. I smile at her over my shoulder. "Yeah, me too. But alison said that it was normal that she was sleeping for that long. Blood loss and stuff like that." i say with a shrug. Aubrey walks over to me and wraps her arms around my waist. "Yeah, i know that. I'm a med student remember?" aubrey says with a laugh. I laugh aswell and shake my head. "Does beca know what happend to jesse yet?" aubrey asks me. I sigh and nod. "Jason told her when he contacted her in her mind. He said that she was okay with it." i said. I feel aubrey nod and sigh. "I really love you, you know that?" aubrey says. I turn around and give her a kiss. "I know. And i really love you to." i say with a smile. "Let's go and feed our hobbit now." aubrey says. I chuckle and grab a spoon.
