The Dragon's Curse

The Curse...

Aqua was sitting her tail wrapped around her, she listened to the elders speak of what had happened long ago before she her self was born. . .

" They'd fought each other for vast areas of land, they kept on fighting for eons and eons. Until one day. . .set foot of a dark black vicious dragon, with purple glowing eyes that will pierce you to the bone. ." Coral explained

Aqua loved listening to the elders they always made the stories sound amazing,.Anahita then continued,

"He was powerful and strong, when the Fire Dragon's king, Inferno challenged This mighty Black dragon. He died, The dragon was way by far too powerful, our ancestors didn't like the idea of this powerful dragon ruling all forms of lands, seas, skies. So they collected four chosen Dragons to battle and defeat this mighty one."

"Oooh! Please tell more!" Aqua chirped

Anahita nodded her head then began to continue again, "By then, Water, Fire, Sky and Earth joined together to battle this Dragon and save the land for other dragons for generations to come. They all came together and decided to battle the beast at the great Mountains. When The Sun fell, Moon rise to a full moon, The Black Mysterious dragon battled against the Four Chosen Dragons."

Aqua laid down listening to them, she wanted to be a hero like all four of the dragons are.

"They all gave their best to winning, but while they battled, they were destroying the land with it. All of them had nasty scars, bites, scratches, from the Mighty Dragon. They were weak and the Mysterious dark dragon didn't look defeated yet either, but he was damaged too in ways. The Four Dragons decided to combine their powers to defeat and banish this Dragon forever from all lands."

"I want to battle against evil just like them!" Aqua exclaimed

Como chuckled, "But it's better when there's peace, not wars."

Aqua sighed, "True"

Just then before Coral was about to continue, until Aqua's Mother walked in.

"Aqua! What are you doing!? You can't be here now you're supposed to train!"

"Sorry Mother." Aqua grumbled then waved goodbye to the elders with a flick of her tail and swam off.

Aqua thought about the story and the training then how soon the full moon would come, maybe Just maybe she could work her tail off training hard so she could join the other dragons in their special meeting with the other Dragon kingdoms, she swam faster. She needed to see her mentor to train with him.

And for days she trained with her mentor hard and good, never giving up and staying determined. She gotten stronger too from the days of training hard, her powers and abilities were stronger, she was more flexible. These were things she could use in battles for advantages against enemies, her mentor said that she might've earned to go to the meeting thats in the next two moons.

She was waiting outside of the Water Palace for her mentor to come back and tell her she can go to the meeting with all the other Dragon Kingdoms. Soon swam out her mentor and a warrior, she stood up tall and straight waiting to tell her if she can go or not.

The warrior said, "Aqua is it? Well I'm Evian."

"Ok" Aqua gave a light smile to Evian

"I'm here to tell you that you can go to the meeting at next full moon."

Aqua was ecstatic about this, "Thank you!" she bowed down politely to Evian.

Evian nodded to her and swam back to the Water palace.
