Chapter 14

Monday
Fuck.

Schools started again and I am not ready at all . I looked out the window , it was sunny so I decided to walk to school.

As I dragged my feet across the grey stone pavement my eyes squinted as I tried to read the message that just came through on my phone.

Gray: good morning gorgeous have a good day xxx
He's so cute . I smiled and carried on my way to school.

At school
I roll my eyes at the teachers attempt to welcome me back and grab my new timetable .
Fuck I have science first today.

I hear the bell ring and I walk into my registration class.

"Good morning Lou!" My teacher smiles.
"It's Louisa." I reply without looking at him.

He shrugs and turns back to his desk to continue the register . It was no surprise to anyone my mood as I'm the same every term .

"I assume you all have your new timetables so make sure you go to the right classes. And everyone , try be nice to the new kids joining , they don't know anyone so it would be nice to show them some support."
The whole class groans and leaves the room to go to next lesson.

I check the room on my timetable and compare it to the number on the door in front me. As I'm about to push it open a teacher with dark brown hair opens it with a smile on her face. I've never seen her before but she looked only a couple years older than me.

"Hi are you in my class sweetheart ?" She asked.
"Um yeah." I reply sliding past her into class.

I was the first one there so I just put my earphones in and rested my head on my desk.

5 minuets later
I hear muffled voices through my earphones but I'm too lazy to lift my head up so I don't . I was so tired , I couldn't stop thinking about Grayson last night . I think I lov-

I felt someone tap my shoulder and I immediately lifted my head to face the person who dared to interrupt my thoughts . But instead , I see Grayson standing at the front of the class in a grey sweater and black jeans.

We both look as surprised as eachother and the whole class looks at us back and forth.

What was he doing at my school?

"Do you guys know eachother ?" Miss asked.
"Um ye-"
"No." Grayson interrupts me as he smiles at the teacher and I frown.
Okay then I think and slouch back down into seat.

Back home
I stared at the ceiling . I had been since I got home from school.
I pick up my phone and decide to text Grayson.

Me: sooo then
Gray: huh xxx
Me: you wanna tell me about today?
Gray: Wdym Lou xxx
Me: don't bullshit me Grayson
Gray: ...
Me: the "we don't know eachother" act in science today
Gray: oh
Me: well first of all why didn't you tell me you were joining my school or even moving schools at all?
Gray: I'm sorry babygirl I just didn't know u went here and I thought it was irrelevant xxx
Me: don't "baby girl" me . That still doesn't change the fact that apparently we don't know eachother.
Gray: look I just want to keep my options... open
Me: OPEN? ARE YOU JOKING
gray: no
Me: so I'm nothing to you ?
Gray: I'm not saying that but we aren't exactly dating are we
Me:well... I
Gray: that's what I thought
Me: no you don't get to turn this around on me
Gray: well I see nothing wrong
Me: you really want to keep your options open ? Fuck off and don't ever speak to me again and if you try text me I'll block your number
Gray: Lou...
Me: fucking try me

I chucked my phone at the wall and just cried . I cried until I couldn't breath and my sobs were interrupted with coughs. I cried until I ran to the bathroom and threw up.

I stumbled back to my bedroom . My head felt heavy and my body boiling until I collapsed on a heap on the floor.
