Millie's P.O.V

If I hear his name one more time I'm going to rip every strand of my hair out my head. I was sick of this constant bickering going on between my friends and the entire time their main topic was him, Finn Wolfhard.  Now don't get me wrong I don't hate him or anything it's just that every time I walk down these bleak desolate hallways the only thing I hear is Finn, finn, fInN.

"Can you guys quit it. I get it Finn is super talented and his wild hair doesn't help but come on constantly saying his name is not going to make him appear out of nowhere"

My friends Emily and Sadie gave me the dirtiest looks before continuing on their conversation about Finn. I was sick of it. I put on the other strap of my backpack and quickened my pace so I would be on time for Mr Delaney's class. Everyone knew how much he hated poor attendance. I took my seat by the window and turned on my phone to read Wattpad just to kill some time before class started.

"He LaTcHeD OnTo My ArM WhIle StArInG At Me WiTh HiS gOrGeOuS eMeRaLD EyEs" I heard a stupid voice say from behind me.

Whipping my head round to see which useless specimen was reading my book I instantly regretted it when I locked eyes with the one and only "hi my names finn". I gave him the blankest stare and continued reading my book.

"Rude much. Yeno out of common curtesy I would expect you to reply Millie."

I turned round , waved and said in my most mocking tone "hi I'm Millie but clearly you already know that" while giving him my brightest smile.

He eyed me up and down funnily before attempting to continue to speak but at that moment Mr Delaney walked in and told us all to "shut the hell up"

(50 minutes later)

I grabbed my text books before heading out the classroom only to be stopped by someone latching onto my arm (this was oddly familiar) I turned round just to see Finn Wolfhard smirking at me.

"What."

He slipped a note into my hand and left the classroom swiftly bewildering me and leaving me to wonder what he gave me. Just as I was about to open it Sadie and Emily run in shouting " WE HAVE TO GO RIGHT NOW!"

This seemed interesting

As I ran down the hallways with them I was stopped by a crowd of people who oddly all seemed to be standing near my locker. I break though the crowd to be met with Jacob Sartorius my best friend since birth.

" hey J what's going on why are all these people here" I whispered. Only for him to shout

"MBB my soulmate. I just gotta make you mine. Will you go to hoco with me?"

I mean I couldn't publicly humiliate him so I forcefully said "yes of course" while grabbing his arm and pulling him out of school.

"What the hell was that you know I hate public displays of affection. God I could feel everyone's stares burning into the back of my head"

"I just wanted everyone to know how much I liked you MBB. I know I'm sorry I didn't mean to embarrass you I promise i won't do it again."

He was too sweet for me to say no to. I smiled intertwined our fingers and let him walk me to his car. At school Jacob wasn't the most popular but me being the all accepting person I am spoke to him jus to find out what an awesome person he was. Plus we had been neighbours for years he was like my brother... well now he's not I guess.

As we piled into my driveway I waved him bye and watched him park his car across the street before running into my house.

"Mum! Dad! Im hereeeeeeeeeeee!"

Silence

Guess their not here. Perfect some privacy. Now I can read what finn gave me. I opened the note expecting to see a number but I was met with song lyrics to what just so happened to be my favourite song

"I want to hold you when I'm not supposed to"

That was it. How does he know this is my favourite song? And why did he give me this? I turned it round looking for answers but all I saw was a blank sheet. I carefully placed the note on my pin board in hopes that more were to come.

(3 hours later)

I heard the door opening and ran downstairs to be met by my ever so caring parents and even better groceries. Finally I was beginning to starve. While searching through the bags for the strawberries I told my mother to buy I overheard their conversation.

"And then i saw cara speaking to the police about their missing dog and oh David their boy finn I think, he looked so lost."
"Well you know they say a dog is a boys best friend"
"Really David"

Finns dog was gone. Rosie. I knew how much he loved her. I felt so bad but what could I do.

"Bingo I found them"

My parents stopped talking and glared at me as I slowly backed out of the kitchen. I needed some air therefore I grabbed my vans and my pastel purple penny board skating out the house. Once I reached the park I began to slowly walk through it. I heard a rustle from behind me. I was not ready to be kidnapped. I began to run only to be followed by the rustle. I held up my penny board ready to hit the stranger but saw a dog at my feet instead. Not just some dog but Rosie. That's why she followed me she remembered me from when i used to come to Finns house. I picked up her leash and skated home with her running behind me it was very late and I doubted anyone in Finns house were awake so I just brought Rosie to mine.
I searched through the cupboards for dog food when I came across some bone shaped biscuits. Eh they'll do. I took the snacks and Rosie to my room and spilt some treats onto the floor for her to eat while I got ready for bed.
How was I meant to return his dog without it seeming like I stole her.
Questions all for tomorrow.

Hey guys this is my first fillie fanfic. I've got loads of ideas for this book. Sorry if you guys don't like Jacob but I can tolerate him so I made him alright I guess in this book.
