As I got back to the shelter, I heard yelling inside. I didn’t want to walk in on the conversation, so I listened to what was happening. I heard Kyo scream, “Dude, give that back! I need it to make her gift!”

“Why do you care about her anyways? It’s not like you’re worthy of her.”

“Look, before you got here, I told Sakura how much I loved her, saved her life twice, made her a bouquet while she was sick, took care of her, and painted the mural on the ceiling, and if you hadn’t noticed, the ceiling says, ‘Sakura, I love you and I want to see your beautiful smile.’ Plus there are hearts surrounding the message, and she told me that she loves the stars. So now I’m trying to make her a necklace, but I need the jewel, so give. It. Back.”

“I’m not giving this back. You’ve been able to do all that because you’ve been here longer. I’m going to give this to her when I also give her this matching ring. And besides, that message is so corny.”

“No, I’ve been able to do all that because I have the determination to do it and a goal. My goal is to do whatever it takes to keep Sakura happy. The message isn't corny. You know nothing about romance. Now give. It. Back.”

“Look, I’ve only been here for two days, so I haven’t been able to do anything yet.”

“Dude, just face it. My love for Sakura over powers you and your petty dreams of ever thinking Sakura would be yours.”

“You know what, just for that, I’m gonna put you in a coma!”

I looked through the window and saw Kyo and Ryoma fighting, and then ran inside and screamed, “Guys!” They didn’t hear me, so I screamed again. “Guys!” They still didn’t hear. “YOU GUYS!!!” They finally stopped fighting, and stared at me. I could tell they had shame in their eyes.

“Why are you guys fighting?! Why can’t you just be friends?!”

They sat there in shame and then started fighting each other again out of anger. I had to scream again, “HEY YOU IDIOTS! CAN YOU STOP FIGHTING FOR FIVE MINUTES AND ACT LIKE YOU SORT OF LIKE EACH OTHER?! IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK?!”

Now the guys were staying still, sitting back to back, having shame in their eyes. I was mad at them for the rest of the day, and they were silent. Neither of them wouldn’t say a word.
