Holy shit. Savannah was the closing act. When I saw her in everything new, dress, makeup, hair. I was in complete surprise seeing her sitting behind the piano looking as calm as ever.
"I knew it!" Calum exclaimed softly, looking at Luke and Nicole. Idly, I wondered if Nicole had been in on the whole thing. Obviously, she had to have been by the smirk she held on her face while looking down the row at me. Sneaky girls.
My attention turned to Savannah again as the most beautiful song I had ever heard was sung from her lips.
Everybody needs inspiration
Everybody needs a song
A beautiful melody
When the night's so long'Cause there is no guarantee
That this life is easyYeah, when my world is falling apart
When there's no light to break up the dark
That's when I, I
I look at youAs she sang, her head lifted, and I could see the smile that she held as our eyes connected once again. I could feel the emotion that she wanted to portray through the song. I loved it, mainly because it was about us, and because the way she sang I was convinced then and there that she was my forever. Around me I could feel eyes pouring into me, and I even saw a camera being pointed to me, but It didn't matter, I was incredibly proud.
When the waves
Are flooding the shore and I can't
Find my way home anymore
That's when I, I
I look at youSavannah's gaze dropped back to the piano. The crowd around me were on their feet, swaying back and forth to her voice. Luke held his arm around Nicole's waste as they both looked at each other with adorning looks.
When I look at you, I see forgiveness
I see the truth
You love me for who I am
Like the stars hold the moon
Right there where they belong
And I know I'm not aloneYeah, when my world is falling apart
When there's no light to break up the dark
That's when I, I
I look at youWhen the waves
Are flooding the shore and I can't
Find my way home anymore
That's when I, I
I look at youAfter she sang that verse, she stood from the piano to come to the front of the stage where a lone microphone stand stood. Her eyes glistened but her smile and voice never faltered once. She reached her hand out to me, getting more into the song with each line she sang.
You appear just like a dream to me
Just like Kaleidoscope colors that
Cover me, all I need
Every breath that I breathe
Don't you know you're beautiful?Yeah, yeah, yeah
When the waves
Are flooding the shore and I can't
Find my way home anymore
That's when I, I
I look at you
I look at you
You appear just like a dream
To me
I didn't care, I was out of my seat and running to her. The show was over anyway, no one would care that her boyfriend wanted to be hugging her at that moment. And once I was next to her, I scooped her into my arms and didn't let go. Her arms wrapped around my stomach as the applause from the crowd surrounded us.
"I love you, Savannah, so damn much." I whispered, kissing the top of her head. Her body shook in my arms and the front of my shirt was getting wet. I knew they weren't sad tears; just extremely happy ones.
"I love you more, Michael." Her head leaned back just enough so I could see her glistening blue eyes. My heart melted. God, this girl. I didn't care that there was a whole room full of people, I kissed her. I didn't want to ever stop kissing her and at that moment in time, I wasn't going to either.
Savannah
I don't think I stopped smiling for the rest of the night. It was a permanent feature that I now had because it wasn't going to leave my face. All of us decided to skip the after party and head on home to have a small party of our own. I grabbed some drinks and snack food from the store before heading on home. It was about twenty minutes until ten and I still had those few hours to keep my album a secret.
Our attire caused some confused looks from the strangers that we passed but none of us cared; we were too hyped about winning and performing. Michael held my hand the whole drive, smiling at me and kissing my cheek. He's such a sweetie. Would it be wrong of me to just dream of marrying this guy?
I could see him dying his hair to a normal blonde color or a dark brown and wearing a nice black tuxedo. It would be a nice outside wedding on a plot of land by the ocean. The sun and wind would be mild and calm as we would say our vows and pour our love out to each other. Ashton, Luke, and Calum would be standing along Michael as his best men and smiling like proud parents as we exchanged our rings. Even though his parents would be sitting front row and as proud as ever.
"Savannah, baby, we're back at your house." Michael whispered into my ear as I saw the driver pull into my driveway. Everyone grabbed a bag or two as we got out. I unlocked the gate with the passcode before letting everyone in. Once the doors were shut, the alarm system took over again.
"Go ahead and set everyone on the dinning table and I'll be down in just a second to make everything. Ash, when you get a chance will you set up the speakers and play some music. And don't worry about how loud it is, my neighbors are too far away to actually hear it."
After I gave Ash the job everyone disbanded and headed to their rooms. Michael stood beside me, wrapping his arms around me. We hadn't talked much since the performance, not because we didn't have anything to say but more to the affect of our emotions were just caught up and we couldn't find the right words to say. He had already wanted to know when he could buy the song so he could hear it repeatedly without me having to sing it. I couldn't tell him an exact date, obviously, so I just told him soon. He'll have it in a couple short hours anyway. I was going to get an email at two minutes until midnight by my producer and then I would send out the Tweet while my other social pages were taken care of by my publicist. Easy peasey.
It was about that time. My phone had been in my hand since eleven fifty. I wasn't going to miss this or the looks they have on their faces when they get the Tweet.
Too bad that my album releasing wasn't the only surprise of the night.
Sorry that it seems so short. I'm trying to write as much as possible now that I have a laptop. The reason why I was shit at updating was because I had to write it in a notebook and then type it out. It took forever and it honestly made it hard for me to write. But I hope that you like this. I don't believe there will be many more chapters but at the end I will have a complete list of songs that inspired or were used for this story. :) I'm contemplating a sequel or moving onto a Ryan Blaney fan fiction. I have an idea for it but I don't know which would be better for me to write. Let me know if you would like to see a sequel or not!? Obviously, if there is a sequel I will have to get a whole lot of ideas for it because I have none at the moment. Also, I would need for Ashton and Calum to have girlfriends and I'm open to giving people those parts. Anywho, have a good day. Vote, comment, do whatever you would like. :) At

FanfictionI couldn't tell anyone about how my relationship really was. Not because I was threatened not too but because I felt like no one would believe me. Who would believe that an up and coming singer was being abused by her boyfriend? They'd probably thin...
