Millie's P.O.V

I woke up to something licking my face just to realise it was Rosie.
"Hey baby your going home today." She didn't understand me.

I removed the covers from my body and got into the shower. I quickly put on my uniform before getting Rosie's lead and walking over to Finns house next door. After last night rehearsing what to say I was confident I could tell him what happened without looking like a dognapper.
I knocked on the door twice before standing back and waiting for someone to answer. The door flew open to a disheveled looking Finn Wolfhard. He looked down at my feet to where Rosie was and back up to me twice.
"Rosie-you.... why do you have my dog Millie."

Time to put my rehearsals into practice.

"Hey Finn, last night I was clearing my head when I heard a lovely sound from behind me. Behold it was Rosie my long lost best friend. I proceeded in picking up her leash and running home clearing both our heads. Then I fed her with some extravagant treats before resulting in bringing her to you." I said with a bright smile.

He looked me up and down before taking Rosie's lead out my hand and brushing his cold fingers against mine. That was weird. He smirked at me surprisingly hugged me and shut the door. No questions asked just my rehearsed explaining.

I got on my bike and rode to school locking it up and walking through my horrible school halls.

"Millie, Millie have you heard Finns dog is missing and yeah apparently he's super depressed over it and needs some loving. Think I should talk to him?" Emily asked me.

I proceeded in telling her about how I had already found his dog and how he hugged me as it wasn't really a big deal. This resulted in an over dramatic reaction consisting of
"Oh my lord. THE Finn Wolfhard hugged my best friend Millie Bobby Brown! Oh my God you haven't showered yet have you. Hug me, hug me now!"

"Em I'm not doing that honestly your obsessing over nothing. By the way where's Sadie?" I calmly said. She smacked my arm and pointed to where Sadie was standing by Caleb twirling her hair.

"What the hell?" I asked in confusion

Emily shrugged her shoulders before latching, painfully might I add, onto my arm "there's Finn go say hi right now". I shook my head violently knowing that JS was waiting for me in biology and would be worried if I was late.

Emily then proceeded in pushing me into Finns arms and I regained posture before waving nervously and running off.

Finns P.O.V

What the hell was that. I mean it's not that I hate Millie or anything but she full on just fell into my arms. Maybe it's because of her kind gesture this morning and my even kinder reply. Maybe she just wanted a hug back. Hold on why was I thinking about this so much. It's just Mille, the same girl who refused to remove her yellow camisole all summer because it "matched her mood" my neighbour for 10 years a whole decade.
I soon realised I had been staring into space for a long time now and quickly stood up straight put on my famous smirk and waltzed over to her friend Emily I think. She looked... happy to see me at least I think that's what her emotions were.

"Hi Emily I was just wondering if you knew what was up with Millie she seemed off is everything ok?" That came off a lot persistent than it needed to. She seemed excited to hear me say that but calmly replied.

"What yes she's just fine like you.. I mean your dog is just fine.. right I hope she is" she said quickly.

"Yeah she's fine and alright thanks for that" I replied while walking away. Leaving her stunned as usual.

(After school)

Millie's P.O.V

"AND OMG MILLIE HE ASKED IF YOU WERE OKAY WELL FINE ACTUALLY AND THEN HE TOTALLY LEFT ME STUNNED" emily screamed while Sadie stood there bewildered.

"Really he asked if I was ok... hmm I guess that's normal considering I FELL INTO HIS ARMS. No thanks to you Emily." I said rudely

"Don't blame me for making you open your eyes to see that Finn and you should get together." She replied

I just rolled my eyes before getting on my bike and cycling home. As I was riding my bike seemed to hit a rock because I went flying into the air and landing at the feet of something.

"MBB are you alright oh my God" Jacob asked shook.

I nodded my head taking his hand for support.

"Where were you today I felt lonely J"

"I'm so sorry. It's just remember that song I posted on YouTube the other day Chapstick it just hit 3 million views. So I dedicated my day to writing more considering people actually like me"

"Wow J I'm so proud of you, remember me when your famous alright"

He shook his head excitedly while I just stifled a laugh. I entered my room when I saw a blue note on my pin board.

"When I'm lying close to someone else" I read out loud. It was another line to my favourite song. Finn.

I looked out my window to see him making out with some girl. He didn't seem interested but how could I tell. I quickly shut my curtains before heading downstairs.
