You walked down the road, only carrying your bag on one shoulder. Today was the day. It was 10 years ago the accident had happened. The accident that had killed your entire family, except for you. You remember it as if it had happened just a few days ago. Everything was clear. You could picture the man with the machine guns. He was in his early twenties. You'd brush your soft hands over some flowers next to the sidewalk. You walk past a building, looking through the window, right at the TV. As expected, they watched the news. "The accident that kilked the entire Vinter-family.". But it wasn't true. It didn't kill the entire Vinter-family. You were still here. You were alive.

You shook the painful thoughts off, and kept walking. As you entered the school everybody looked at you. You had always been an outsider. Everyone judged you, except a few - being your friends. Sadie and Millie were your best friends. The three of you were classified as "unpopular freaks".
???: "Hey Vinter!"
Somebody yelled. You turned around meeting Jaedens face. He smiled at you.
Y/n: "Fuck off."
You snarled and turned your back on him.
Jaeden: "You know what day it is today?"
You turned to face him once again.
Y/n: "No. I don't."
You smiled sarcastically at him waiting for an answer.
Jaeden: "Today, 10 years ago, your entire family died."
Y/n: "Oh really? I didn't know, but thanks for the reminder, jerk."
For the second time you turned around to walk away.
Jaeden: "Slut!"
You gave him the finger while walking away.
"Y/n Vinter to principals office, please."
Y/n: "Shit,"
You rolled your eyes and turned down a hallway on your way to the principals office.

You opened the door to reveal not 1, not 2, but three people. Your eyes widened and flicked around between the principal and the two strangers. The strangers seemed to be around your age. They were kind of hot and you blushed.
Mr. Sands (Principal): "Ms. Vinter, meet Mr. Grazer and Mr. Wolfhard."
Y/n: "Hola- I-I-I mean hello."
You smiled, embarrassed of yourself.
Jack & Finn: "Hey."
They were both a bit taller than you, and absolutely gorgeous.
Mr. Sands: "They're new here, Ms. Vinter. I was wondering if you could show them around? To get your mind off... certain stuff."
You hesitated to answer.
Y/n: "Oh- uh- sure,"
You smiled at them. They exchanged glances which kind of freaked you out.

The three of you walked out of the office and you lead them to the cafeteria.
Y/n: "So, do you guys know eachother?"
Finn: "Yeah, we know eachother from wo-"
Jack: "School. We went to school together before we both moved."
Jack had covered Finn's mouth with his hand.
Y/n: "Mhm. And which school was that?"
You asked, suspiciously.
Finn: "Harva-"
Jack: "Long Beach Middle School. We met in Junior High."
Y/n: "Uh huh."
You said as you arrived at the cafeteria. The three of you sat down around a table. Suddenly the sound of clicking heels crept up behind you.
Lilia: "Hey boys, are you guys new? You wanna join my table?"
Jack: "No thanks, I'd rather sit here."
Lilia: "With that loser? You joking?"
Finn & Jack: "No."
You looked at them, surprised that they had picked you over Lilia. Behind Jack and Finn was Sadie and Millie. They looked like someone had broken their jaws. You grinned at them, and Millie sent you a 🤙 signaling for you to give them her number. You shook your head and sent them a goofy smile.
Lilia: "Don't think you're worth anything, slut."
She whispered in your ear. Jack and Finn narrowed their eyes on her, almost as if they were prepared to attack her if she layed a hand on you. After that she blew them a kiss and walked sassily back to her table. Millie and Sadie came over to you, sitting on either side of you.
Sadie: "What was that all about?"
Millie: "Y/n, do you care to introduce us?"
She smirked.
Y/n: "Millie - Finn, Finn - Millie, Millie - Jack, Jack - Millie, Sadie - Finn, Finn - Sadie-"
You stopped to catch you breath.
Y/n: "Sadie - Jack, Millie - Sadie, Jack - Finn, Fillie, Jadie-"
You started coughing.
Jack: "I think we got it,"
He grinned. Millie elbowed you, embarrassed.
Finn: "You guys wanna hang after school?"
He smirked and bit his lip.
Millie: "We'd LOVE to!"
Millie shouted before any of you got a chance to answer.
Finn: "Might as well invite everyone else then,"
Finn smirked before leaping up on his chair.
Finn: "Party at my place tonight! Riversroad 99!"
He shouted loud enough for anybody to hear. The entire cafeteria started yowling in excitement.
