She's Back /26/

Ariel's POV:

Sitting there in the cab looking at Lily made me realize how much I missed having a little sister. I missed so many of the simple things like teaching her how to write a letter to helping her get dressed in morning, but now he's older and doesn't need my help as much. She knows how to dress her and how to write a letter; she's older now and has bigger problems to deal with so I have be stronger now... for her.

"Val, did you go see dad?" she asked me breaking from my thoughts.

"Yeah I went the other day...why?" I said

"Auntie told me that I couldn't see him anymore and that he's an evil man... is that true?" she asked me.

I took a breath in and said "Yes, he is. Lily he did a lot of things to us when you were too young to understand and too young to remember."

"Oh but he tried to fix things..." She said

"Lil, he tried but he keeps messing up and he's never going to change." I told her hoping she would understand and drop the subject.

The cab pulled up to the hotel and as expected paparazzi where outside of hotel waiting to get pictures of the boys.

"Lily, when we get out of the car hold my hand, kept your head down and don't answer any of their questions." I told her she gave a confused nodded," You ready?" I asked her and once again she nodded.

I opened the cab door and managed to get Lily off the cab safely. I grabbed her hand my pushed my way through the paparazzi, which kept yelling questions hoping to get answers.

"Ariel, who is the little girl?"

"Are you and Niall dating?"

"Is it true that you're pregnant?"

"How are the boys doing?"

More questions kept getting yelled but I didn't pay much attention to them. After what seem like forever we made it to the doors.

"Are you okay?" I asked Lily.

"Yeah, I am. How did they know your name?" She asked me.

"Well... I'm One Direction's official songwriter and I'm touring with them at the moment." I told her

"That's awesome!" She said excitedly

"Yeah, and guess what?"

"What?"

"You get to meet them all in a bit" I told her.

"Really?" Her eyes grew in shock. I smiled and nodded back at her.

We got into the lift and went to my room and put her bags down. She asked me if she could watch some telly. I told her she could and that I was going to make some phone calls. I went outside to the balcony and called Niall.

"Hello?" Niall answered the phone.

"Hey. What are you doing?" I asked

"Nothing the boys and I are headed to do a radio interview." He says

"Niall, I need to tell you something." I said fast.

"What is it?" He asked

"Remember how I was going to meet up with my aunt today?"

"Yeah..." He said and I went on and explained to him the whole situation and how Lily was going to be living with me.

"Ariel that's crazy." He said once I finished.

"I know but she's my sister and I'll do anything for her."  I told him.

"I know babe... listen we just got to the radio station we'll be back in hotel after this and we'll talk then okay?"

"Okay... bye" I said before hanging up.

After that I text my aunt asking her to send me Lily's custody forms so I could be her legal guardian. A few minutes later she sent me the copy of the forms and I forward them to lawyer explaining to him the situation. He asked me to meet up with him once I got to New York but as of now I had a limited right to Lily. Which I was fine with.

Niall text me a few minutes ago that he was five minutes away from the hotel. I was a bit nervous, there was a lot I needed to talk to him about and I needed to ask him about that night. Soon enough I heard a knock on my door. It was Niall with the rest of the boys.

"Hey Ariel" Harry said giving a hug and the rest of them followed.

"Did you tell 'em?" I asked Niall and he nodded.

"Good because I didn't want to explain what happen in front of Lily." I said hugging Niall.

I walked into the lounge and see the boys were already talking to Lil.

"Ariel, she's so cute." Harry said pinching her cheeks. Lily gave me look saying help me but I just shrugged and laughed.

"So Lily I guess you already know each one is but just in case that's Harry... Niall... Liam...Zayn ... and Louis." I told her and she nodded.

The boys started talking to Lily finding out what she liked and things of that sort. Soon Paul came in to tell the boys that they had to go. Niall asks me to go with and I agreed. We all go into the SUV's the usual way and headed to the stadium they were playing tonight.

 It was around 5 and the boys were doing their sound checks and started goofing off by the end of the sound check, singing the song in different ways, running around stage, messing with instruments. After that they went to get ready.  Paul told me and Lily to go backstage because the doors were going to open and there was no bodyguard would be able to stay with us at the moment.

After the concert we went back to the hotel and called it a night
