Chapter 23

Dinah's POV

To Mani ❤️ [9:06am]
Good morning beautiful, hope you're excited for the date today. I'll pick you up around 12ish.

Today is the day that I'm taking Normani on a date and I'm feeling a mix of emotions; a variety of emotions I've never felt before. I want this date to be the most special date Normani has ever been on, I want this girl so badly. I'm slowly falling for her, she's completely broken down my wall and I'm a different person around her.

Lauren's POV

This morning I have decided to wake up earlier than Camila because I plan to make her breakfast in bed. It's not hard to wake up earlier than her anyway, considering she sleeps like a baby. She looks so peaceful when she sleeps and when I look at her, I see my whole world. I smile at her one last time, kiss her forehead gently and make my way out of the room.

"Morning sis," Chris greets me when I enter the kitchen. "Absolute shocker about you and Camila," he mumbled while stuffing his face with cereal.

"You're not jealous are you?" I ask him mockingly.

"Shut up," he started. "She's hot but she's basically my sister from another mister, that's just weird."

I laugh at him in response and carry on making Camila's breakfast. I get a tray from our cupboard and put my '5* star' breakfast onto it. 2 slices of toast, a bacon sandwich and a hot drink.

I start upstairs and trip over the first step, almost tipping everything off the tray. I compose myself and start to go upstairs again. I push my bedroom door open with my foot and carefully walk into the room trying not to tip anything. I place the tray carefully on my desk and lie back down behind Camila in a spooning position.

"Camz," I whisper cuddling up closer to her while planting kisses on her cheek. "Babeeee, wake up. I've made breakfast."

She starts to stir awake. I think the only thing that can wake this girl up is the sound of food. She's unbelievable.

"Am I dreaming or did you just say you made me breakfast?" She asks while still being half asleep.

"You were dreaming," I mock while she gives a sad, disappointed grunt in response. "I'm joking Camz, I'll get it now."

She immediately shoots up from lying down and her eyes light up when she sees the tray. She's the equivalent to a puppy who sees their owner after they haven't seen them for a day. That's Camila with food.

"Mmmm, this bacon is amazing," she says while quickly eating the sandwich.

"You won't be saying that when you choke on it," I laugh. "Seriously though, stop eating so quickly, you're scaring me," I say while playing with her thigh.

I decide to open up the group chat made by Dinah last night and send her a message about her date.

Lauren [11:38am]
Good luck for today Dinah, you'll knock it out the park. I hope you have something nice planned. After all, who could ever reject you?

Dinah [11:38am]
Thank you but I'm so nervous 😬😩 I have to leave soon and I can't contain my nerves. I'll tell you all about it when I'm back.

"I hope their date goes well today", I say to Camila while still playing with her thigh.

"So do I," she starts. "I really want to go on a double date like bowling or something and see who is the better couple", she chuckles.

"Well it wouldn't be us," I reply.

"Why not?", she angrily asks me.

"Not with you on my team anyway," I quickly respond in a flirty tone.

She gives me one stern, angry look and goes to sit on the other side of the bed. I just laugh in response. She's a petty one but I love it.

"Camz, do you hate me now?", I start while laughing. "I'm sorry. I was only joking. I love you," I add to make up for what I said.

She turns around and starts to come back to my side of the bed, "Aw thank you Lauren, I knew you were jok-", she tried to say before I cut her off.

"What I meant to say was that we'd lose because you're kind of good at games. You're not bad but you're not amazing," I say to wind her up even more than I already am.

"Right," she says while stomping off the bed in an angry way. "I'm going home."

She starts towards the door and I get up. I walk up behind her, put my arms around her waist and join my hands on her stomach. I pick her up and throw her gently onto the bed.

"You're not going anywhere baby," I say before starting to passionately kiss her. "I'll miss you too much if you leave".

She deepens the kiss and grabs my top to pull me closer. Before we know it, our tongues are introduced into the action and the kiss is starting to get heated. The pulling on clothes start to get tighter and more needed by us. I could start to sense this going somewhere where it shouldn't. Not because I don't want to, but because Camila hasn't done anything like this and to be honest, neither have I. Camila starts to put her tongue into my mouth again and I can't help but start to lift my hand under her top. I didn't realise I was doing it because I was so into it, I was dazzled completely. I was so in love and invested, I didn't realise what I was doing until she pulled away.

"Stop Lauren," she said gently while breathing heavily and hanging her head low. She was embarrassed. "I'm not ready, I'm just not ready yet."

She slowly got up off the bed and walked into the bathroom which was followed by her closing the door shut.

I watched and when she was out of sight, I flew myself back onto the bed and just thought to myself: Ugh Lauren, what have you done now?

A/N
So I was about 15 when I started writing this story and I kinda forgot about it completely. I downloaded the app and started to search for the story. Wow. I was a terrible writer and a bit cringey so sorry about that 😂 However, I'm 18 now and decided I wanted to update it. Even if no body reads this anymore, I updated because I enjoy forgetting about this story and coming back to read it.

But yeah, anyway, that was just a bit of an explanation as to why there's a random update like 4 years later.
