I mean someone has to do it
Okay, here's the thing: I always see shit like "gotta treat yo girl right" or whatever and like that's fair. I can get behind that statement. I like that statement
What I DONT like is the lack of "gotta treat yo guy right" like FAM they're people too they need to be treated right and cared for and loved like anyone in a healthy, functioning relationship
Like if I ever get a boyfriend (unlikely that I'm going to get a relationship at all but—) I'm going to treat him right. If he's sad I'm going to bring over chocolates and cakes and cuddle with him and watch his favorite movie or tv series or even YouTube videos with him and if he doesn't want to do that then we'll do something else. I'll give him gifts and I'll be there for him when he needs me.
I'll do all those things for my boyfriend, and I feel like guys are too used to the roles being reversed. That shouldn't be the case. They should be able to expect being treated right.
Why isn't there more of treating guys right? I like girls too, I'm a pan I can love anyone. I can have any of the fish in the sea. But DAMN. Take care of your significant other, no matter what gender they are. Treating a guy right shouldn't be any less common of a phrase than treating a girl right and I hate that that's not the case. Like I'm mad for guys even though I'm not one
