Chapter thirty one

Steve
After days of being away from my baby I was headed home. And I was going to show up in style and I bet Athena was going to look amazing in whatever she wore.

We got to the tower and I started walking towards her and she walked down to me I was smiling like crazy and she looked beautiful.

She was breathtakingly beautiful.

When I finally got to her I kissed her softly and hugged her.

"I missed you beautiful".

"I missed you too baby".

I took her hand in mine and we walked together as we answered questions and such. We made it inside and she went off to change while I was pulled away to make a video about her.

"So how does it feel to be engaged after all these years Steve?"

"It's amazing I love Athena so much. She makes me happy that I'm here and all that. I could go on and on about her and I'm so proud that she's mine and proud she's an Avenger and I can't wait to have her as my wife and have a family with her. She is my everything".

She walked out and she was in a new dress. She looked so beautiful and classy.

I couldn't focus on anything but her. This was my future wife, the mother of our children, my soulmate.

She walked over to me and kissed my cheek leaving a slight mark of lipstick on my cheek.

"I think you look beautiful in everything tonight doll".

"Thank you. This was the dress I wanted but Pepper suggested I make an entrance after all our engagement is apparently big news to the world and being an Avenger is too".

"Or they're focused on my beautiful sweetheart".

"You're amazing Steve".

I put my hand on her back and led her over to the couch where we all sat.

I smiled at how all the girls were laughing and whatnot as long as she was happy I was happy. I kissed the top of her head and she kissed my cheek.

"Who would've thought you'd be engaged", said Clint.

"It's about time", said Tony.

"I'm going to be the best man Steve", said Bucky.

"Guys we have time to plan the wedding after all it's up to her. I'm happy with whatever she chooses I trust her".

"I already have a place for your honey moon", said Tony.

I laugh at everyone's eagerness I wanted to be her husband already as well but we just were engaged so it'll be okay.

"I want to thank everybody for coming tonight and I want to congratulate Athena and Steve on their engagement and on Athena's becoming an Avenger", said Pepper.

We stood up and I kissed her and she kissed back. I was so proud of her and us.

After the party we went back to her place and I carried her in bridal style and locked the door remembering last time. I carried her upstairs and pushed her against the door gently once it was closed.

I kissed her lips passionately and then her neck and she began working on the buttons of my shirt. I pulled the tie off and threw it somewhere. She kissed the middle of my chest and she turned around moving her hair so I could unzip her.

I unzipped her dress and she let it fall around her and I placed it on a chair.

"You're so damn beautiful baby doll. I'm so lucky to have you as my future wife".

"As you my are my future husband".

I kissed her bare shoulders as she pulled me over to the bed and sat down in just underwear. I finished getting underdressed and took her underwear off and I pushed her back against the bed and pillows gently.

I hovered over her body and kissed her all over. She rolled us over and began kissing me all over and I felt her mouth of me and I moaned her name and she took me in to her mouth.

"Athena, doll I'm not gonna last long sweetheart".

"We have all night baby".

"You are going to be the death of me sweetheart".

I let go in her mouth and she kissed me and I laid her beneath my body and took care of her like she did me. She was also so sensitive for me and I loved it. I loved how she said my name in pleasure and ran her fingers through my hair.

I loved her so much it hurt but I'd gladly accept the pain. It made this feel so real.

I entered her as she begged and pleaded and I watch her eyes roll back as we made love. This feeling was the best thing I ever felt I was with my soulmate making love and I needed it more than she did after thinking I was never going to be happy again I was over the moon.

"Steve I'm so so close".

"Me too baby girl".

I gently pulled out of her and threw the condom away and I pulled her close to me. I kissed her lips.

"I'd be okay with this all time. It keeps you home and next to me all the time."

"You're adorable doll".

"Now I think we should soak in the bath." She got up and ran into the bathroom and started a bath. I got up and kissed her once I caught her.

Once the tub was full we got in after adding bubbles and stuff at her request. She laid her head on my shoulder and I kissed her cheek.

"Is it bad I wanna look at wedding plans already?" She asked.

"No hun you are fine".

"We should both start planning stuff and I'll ask Pepper to help with it to since she's good at all this planning stuff".

"Sounds good doll".

She grabbed my hands and put them on her stomach. I kissed her neck.

"I love you so much Steve".

"I love you more Athena".
