"kid, get that shit outta your mouth." harry spat. imani rolled her eyes and flinged it out into the grass.

"im supposed to be watching you." he added.

"like you know how to do that." imani spat and walked back inside the manor.

peppers' younger brother, harry was watching the young girl for her safety while tony,nathan, pepper and katherine were visiting S.H.I.E.L.D.

whomever they were, imani did not know.

"so since, you're spending the weekend with me. what do you want to do?" harry asked sitting across from imani.

"anything that doesn't involve you." she spat opening her book and walking up to the room she was staying in.

she hated it here already, within the five hours harry has pestered her and annoyed her to death. all she wanted to do was eat, sleep and read. she was really not in the mood to get angry and spazz out. she didn't feel like, blazing up. 

a few hours pass of reading, listening to music, napping and doing school work- all becoming bored soon after.

she walked downstairs and was greeted by none other then the charming harry. 

"hi, what can i do for you." she said crossing her arms at the top of the stairs.

"hmm nothing really. just wanted to eat dinner and was graciously about to ask you to join me." he said, the offer sounding tempting.

"i guess, why not?" she said hopping down the stairs and making her way to the dining room. 

"finally, she listens." a voice engulfed the room. she whipped around, in all directions looking for a person. 

"what?" harry asked curiously. 

she sighed, turning back around and sat down to pizza.

"pepper better pay me well." she heard the voice again.

looking up, she looked right into his eyes. 

"this is weird." she heard harry speak, but not out loud. 

she quickly looked away, harry confused. 

imani took out her phone and called her dad.

he picked up on the third ring, her already out in the back yard.

"hey imani, everything ok?" he asked concerned.

"um, how is it that i can hear harry's thoughts?" she blurted.
"dad, everything is changing. i can go back in time, alternate scenarios and can garner strength like ive never before. dad, im scared." she said tears streaming out not.

"imani, im on my way home. stay in the manor, ill come pick you up. ok?" he stated.

"ok." she said before hanging up. 

yet, he never did make it.
