I woke up the next morning hearing shuffles from outside the teepee, I rubbed my eyes and looked around. My hair was a mess and I stunk, how do these people get clean? I was curious so I stood up and walked outside the tent after trying to tame my hair with my hands. I looked around seeing all types of members of the tribe walking around, the children seemed to be learning some sports and the women were holding baskets above their heads full of corn. The men seemed to be making new canoes and weapons, I noticed the chief and knew he would know where Pocahontas was. I rushed to him smiling,

"Sir! Do you know where Pocahontas is?" I asked

"She went to the river." He said coldly not giving any direction. he kept a hard expression.

I noticed Pocahontas, but she was with a strange man. I walked up a bit closer noticing the man as John Smith. I acted almost like a cat before I jumped up next to them. Pocahontas had been teaching me some phrases in the native language so I decided I would use them. I spoke to Pocahontas in the language refusing to look at John, Pocahontas then began to speak english.

"Ann this is John Smith, he came here from these strange clouds." She said smiling at John Smith.

I looked at him and his eyes widened, I glared at him and jumped up onto the tree hanging from the branch.

"Hello Ann." He said lookinf at me with still wide eyes.

I nodded "Hello, John Smith." I said keeping a calm look.
John Smith and Pocahontas kept talking as I was carefully climbing up the tree though I had just came here yesterday I was getting the hang of it. I grabbed a weak branch and came tumbling down to the ground. I made a grunt and stood back up, I rubbed my bum since it had landed right on it. I looked at Pocahontas then John Smith before walking back to camp, as I walked into camp I was stopped by some warriors. They looked at me and before they could say anything Pocahontas and Nekoma rushed to me speaking with the warriors. The warriors let us pass and we walked to the aid tent, I was shocked to see Mamontag in the tent lying down in pain, the chief spoke and the aider spoke right after. In their language, I sighed and walked away. I sat down on a rock and stared at my barefeet. I heard footsteps and quickly turned to face the owner of the footsteps only to see a warrior.

I sighed turning back around praying for Nekoma or Pocahontas to come save me from this man. He stared at me coldly before rushing past me, I heard gunshots and ran in the direction I heard them from. All the men were running with me some pushing me behind them to protect me. I smiled and looked at all the english from down below, I saw Thomas and I felt a wider smile creep on my lips. I jumped down and tackled Thomas in the biggest hug, he tried reaching for his gun but I stopped him and made him look at me. He hadn't seen me in months so I don't blame him if he can't recognize me. Thomas was like a brother to me. He stared at me before smiling and hugging me back, all the men stood back as I stood up with Thomas. I looked back seeing all the Natives staring at us, I nodded to them as they gave me looks as if to come back to them. I looked back at the  english men and glared at Governer Ratcliff before turning back around walking back to the tribal warriors.

I glanced back at Thomas and the rest of the men giving a sad smile. I sighed as I was grabbed by the arm and pulled away from the men, I looked to see Kocoum holding my arm and pulling me with him. I trier to pull my arm but he kept a strong hold. I sighed and walked carefully of any twigs or sharp rocks. Pocahontas ran up to me giving me a pretty tight hug, I smiled hugging back and glanced at Kocoum.

It was a later time in the day and Pocahontas, Nakoma, and I were picking corn for the more warriors who were to arrive later in the day. I sighed as I looked at Pocahontas and Nakoma who were picking the corn next to me but Pocahontas didn't seem all that happy about it. I glanced at Nakoma who was staring Pocahontas down, she then spoke her voice making me jump.

"Whats going on?" Nakoma asked holding her basket of  corn on her curvy hip.

"What do you mean?" Pocahontas looked at her confused.

"Why have you been running off?" She asked.

My eyes opened widely as I noticed John Smith peek through the corn stalks. I quickly grabbed John Smith by the arm and yanked at his shirt.

"What are you doing here??" Pocahontas and I whisper yelled to him.

"I wanted to see you." He said looking at Pocahontas.

I rolled my eyes glaring at him, this man is crazy!

Pocahontas smiled as she held her hand over Nakoma's mouth before whispering a quick please and running off with John Smith. I looked at Nakoma before seeing Kocoum walk up to us.

"Nakoma, where is Pocahontas?" Kocoum asked sternly.

I glanced at her hoping she wouldn't tell him. I looked back at the corn that I was removing from its stalks. I heard Nakoma speak to him but I didn't quite catch it, I then felt a soft hand grab my should and turn me to face them. I hummed and looked up seeing Kocoum, he stared at me intently.

"Please, tell her to come back soon. If she runs off like this when we get married it'll drive me crazy." Kocoum said before turning to walk away. I sighed and nodded before setting my basket down and darting in the direction of grandmother Willow.
