My name is Alison Mayhem. Strange last name? I know. Today is my brothers 21st birthday. Me being 23 I'm already allowed to go to clubs, bars, and all that. But he is going for the first time today... let's see how this goes.
I pick up my phone dialing Carly's number. Carly had been my best friend since grade school. Never have I met someone as outgoing as her. She died her hair a vivid purple, just to prove a point to a freshman who said that she was a wimp. The color is only now fading. We just graduated from college. Carly has a modeling career and I have a- -who am I kidding, I don't have a career. Though I majored in Pre-Med. I just haven't been able to jump-start my career yet...
"Hello?" Carly's tired voice vibrates through my phone. Signaling to me that she just was woken up.
"Carly, today is Shawn's 21st birthday, my family is taking him to a bar, and I kinda need my bestie to go with me..." I explain to her hoping she'll find it in her heart to go.
"Party?! I'm down! I'll be there in 15!"
"Oh, Oka-"I was cut off by the hangup tone.
I decided its best if I took a shower... knowing that Carly will be doing my make-up for hours. After my 10 min show, I threw on some shorts and a tank-top. Waiting for Carly. I know her saying 15 minutes... really mean 30.
After 45 min, Carly came rushing through my bedroom door.
"Omg, I'm so sorry Ally, Trafic was hectic, and there was this old lady in the middle of the road trying to move her cat-dog?" she paused to see if I believed her story. "Oh who am I kidding, I fell back asleep after you called me"I laughed at her statement.

Carly spent about 30 min on my hair and 30 min on my make-up. taking us about 2 1/2 hours for both of us to get ready. Carly dressed in a white tight, crop top. with a short pink skirt and knee-high boots. Her brownish-purplish straight hair draped over her shoulder.
I was dressed in a black loose crop top and a shorter red skirt. Shorter than Carlys, which I was not fond of. I had black buckle heels that were VERY high, and a diamond bracelet that Shawn got me for my 20th birthday. My long dirty-blonde hair was straightened, with a half pony tail in the back.
We took selfies and gossiped about or high school friends. Until the door opened, Shawn walked in. "Hey Ally, we're leaving."
"Ok, we are coming."
"Wait. SHES coming!?" he said pointing to Carly. I laughed. "This is gonna be a long night," he said closing the door behind him. Carly and I laughed at Shawn's remark. But boy did we know he was right.
