Finally Ours

I walked out hand in hand with Sky, talking on the phone letting the guys know we're finished, "Hey Austin."

"Hey Alan. You guys ready?"

"Yeah man. Everything has been settled. we have a meeting tomorrow with the Hospital at 4 and then we should be set up."

"Sounds great! We'll be there in ten but to be safe maybe you guys should catch a flight home tonight instead of being on the bus."

"That's a good idea. I'll book a flight home for midnight right now."

"Awesome! I'll see you in a bit. Bye!"

With that said Austin hung up, "What's this about a flight home tonight?" Sky spoke up.

"Austin thinks it's a better idea to fly home tonight rather than having Nat in the bus."

"Sounds good. How long does it take?"

"About 45 minutes to an hour. Not too much time."

"Sounds great baby. Now time to spend our last day in Vegas with our little cuddle bug."

"A dream day it sounds like." Skyla giggled.

I leaned down, kissing Sky gently as a thank you for everything. She makes me happy and when she agreed to let bring Nat home with us, made me love her even more. A honk broke the silence and ruined our moment, "Hey Lovebirds! Quit being all lovey dovey and get your asses in this van right now!" Austin yelled.

"Way to ruin our moment Carlile!" Sky laughed.

"C'mon mommy! Food awaits!" Nat laughed.

"Alright pumpkin, alright. We're going."

"How'd everything go?" Bridget questioned.

"It went great. We have an appointment tomorrow with the Director of the Hospital to confirm everything and then Nat starts her treatment again like she never left. It'll be an hour drive but it's worth it." I smiled kissing Nat on the forehead and Sky on the lips.

"And what about you bug? How are feeling about this?" Sky questioned.

"It's the best thing I can imagine, I love you both so much and I can't thank you enough for taking me in," she sniffled "I didn't think anyone would want me with what I have. I may be 10 years old but I understand how a family should be and this is how a family should be." Natalie smiled.

"That was a mouthful pumpkin but of course we want you, and everything that comes with you. We love you sweetheart and continue to love you, til the end of time. We'll always be by your side. Forever and always." Sky smiled, wiping away her tears.

I looked up when I heard sniffling, "Are you okay Aussie? Do you need to cuddles?" I chuckled.

"Shut up Ginger. This is heart warming." Austin sniffled.

I looked all around the van and realized this is my family. These people that I've been with for 3 years, this gorgeous girl I've only known for a few months, and this little girl that stole my heart. This is what I've wanted all along. I'm loved and I love them. This is an incredible feeling and I don't want it to go away.

"Alright! Now before I start crying can we go eat please?" Tino whined.

"Yeah alright hold it Tin Man, we're going." Austin laughed.

"Another question," Natalie whispered "How are we getting everything home?"

"We had a truck go take everything back yesterday, so all we have to do is gather your clothes from your room and we'll be done." I replied.

"Thanks daddy." She smiled kissing my cheek.

"Heyyyyy!" Sky whined "What about me?"

"I love you too mommy." Natalie giggled kissing Sky's cheek.

Sky smiled and kissed her back, "I love you baby."

I looked over at Sky and kissed her softly "I don't know where I'd be without you."

"Aren't I supposed to be saying that?" She mumbled.

"And why is that sweetheart?"

"Because you saved me. So really I don't know what I'd do without you." She cupped my face rubbing her thumb across my cheek.

I turned my face and kissed her palm, nuzzling into the touch "But you saved me too. You know you did."

"Alright alright I know."

"Good now let's get back to Natalie. We'll have plenty of time together from now on." I smiled, kissing her forehead gently.
