Chapter 12: Shadow Blazing

A/N: This chapter is based off of the episode: Shadow zone.

3rd POV:

Several hours after being dragged off the flight deck of the Nemesis, Starscream lies in medbay after taking a pounding from Megatron completely littered in dents, scrapes, and scratches from helm to Pede as well as the occasional crack in his armor here and there.

A short time later, both Megatron and Blaze pay a visit, mostly so Megatron can gloat on how the tables have turned between the positions of himself and Starscream. Shortly after gloating Megatron leaves medbay, leaving Blaze behind.

After knowing that Megatron is long gone, Blaze walks up alongside the medical berth in which Starscream occupies and leans against it, staring at the door where she came in from and continues to keep the silence.

Not able to deal with the tension any longer, Starscream looks over and breaks the silence.

" What is it that you could possibly want Blaze?" Said Starscream with a disrespectful tone annoyed but is glad to see her.

Blaze then breaks her attention away from the door and stares at the Silver Seeker straight into his crimson Optics with her own ice blue ones with a menacing icy glare and breaks her own bout of stillness.

" You know that you deserve what had happened to you hours ago..."

She then changes her menacing glare to one of slight malice and continues.

" .... So maybe that shard of Dark Energon that you still have just might come to use to you after all."

Starscream, even though he is more than annoyed that the White Seeker said what she did, realizes that Blaze still knows that he has and asks her what she meant about her statement.

" Wait a minute, you know I still have the shard I took? And what do you mean that it will come to use to me?! He demands more than puzzled.

Blaze replies with a stern tone while hiding the slight amusement she has over the small conflict, " Figure it out. Just don't do something ignorant this time, you will regret it later... trust me.."

The Seeker Femme then gets up and walk toward the door but stops and looks over her shoulder at Starscream and gives a bit of a relaxed but sincere mysterious half smile then returns to the normal stoic facade everyone on the warship has grown accustomed to then walks out.

Starscream's POV:

What was with the half smile she gave me? Then leaves like nothing happened, how is she able to do that?!

After Blaze had left I waited a few more moments before freeing myself of the wires and cables that were attached to me.

Becoming unrestrained I slowly and painfully get off the medical berth and begin to make my way out of the medbay with a limp myself.

I just wonder how she figured out that I still have the shard of Dark Energon? Does she also know where I hid it? I sure hope not, I really don't need any more problems starting for me than what already had.

Meanwhile....

Blaze's POV:

Following the small conversation between myself and Starscream, whom looks like scrap by the way... I left the medbay with the intent of speaking to Soundwave in the main control room. During the duration of the walk I had been thinking about what had happened since I had been recruited as a Decepticon...

Why is Starscream so intent on becoming the leader of this faction? Is this also the reason why Megatron wants me to replace Starscream as second in command, so he can get rid of him?
