The Baudelaire's and Sally Sebald sat in silence for a while. "We are going to arrive shortly" Sally said. "Pardon my curiosity, but where is it you are taking us" Klaus asked. "That's a very interesting question" Sally replied. "We are currently going to pay a visit to the sewer system of The City" she continued. "There we will traverse a secret tunnel and hopefully arrive at a rendezvous with the Duchess of Winnipeg" she finished.

"The Duchess of Winnipeg" Sunny whispered, curiously. "That sounds quite weird" Violet responded, in the same whispering tone. "Now tell me Baudelaire's what exactly happened during your stay on the island" Sally asked.

Violet started explaining, "Well, I designed a parachute to escape the burning Hotel Denouement. My siblings, I and Count Olaf all escaped off the roof and landed in the sea" she started. "After we were caught in a storm and washed up on The Island. There we met the original creator of V.F.D and some island folk. Sadly Count Olaf was there too. He had the Medusoid Mycelium and Ishmael shot a harpoon gun at him which injured him and also broke open the helmet containing the fungus. The islanders and Ishmael sailed away for Lousy Lane to get the cure but I doubt they made it as the world would have been infected by now." Violet continued.

For the next part of this story she teared up and Klaus took it from there "Well after that Kit was killed by the Mycelium and Beatrice was born. Count Olaf helped her give birth which was extremely out of character for him. Than we were trapped for a year and well now we've returned." he finished. At this Beatrice Baudelaire Snicket II started to tear up.

As you must know having read the previous entries in this book, Beatrice was over a year old and happened to be extremely intelligent. She had understood since her siblings had sat down with her on her first birthday who her parents were, the noble things they did and most importantly that they were dead. "Wow that is a very sad tale Baudelaire's but I have news" Sally said. "We are here".
