It was 4th period my stomach growling and my mind was a mess.

How could i get Avin to remember me?

Different thoughts were running through my head some legal and others not of ways to get him to remember.

I was so into my own little world I hadnt realized i walked in the opposite direction of cafeteria altogether . I was somewhere by gym.

To my surprise i see my friend Denis hanging in the front of the gym talking to someone.

"Denis!" I call out to him running in turbo speed he turned around with a grin and as soon as i see whos hes talking to my body comes to a halt."A-Avin." I say under my breath Im so excited this would save me the hastle of having to find him.

"Hey shell" Denis says. "Whats up i was just talking to new kid about joining the football team "

" Hi Michelle " Avin says i cringe at the sound of my government name and the unfamiliarity that came with it.

"You can call me Shelly Avin"I said

"Woah thats so strange we use to have a kid names Avin that lived here. What's your last name dude."

"Uhh Wright"

"Woahhhh that's so trippy that was his last name too small world ... right!" Denis started chuckling at his own joke."Oh god.I crack my self up hahaha"

I face palm "Dennis are you blind that is him its Avin you dimwit"

Denis was looking at him long and hard I could tell this was gonna take a while and Avin was looking very uncomfortable. So I put my hands around Avins eyes mimicking his signature thick glasses.Denis's mouth turned into a perfect O.

"Avin my boy!!" Denis said full of excitement and cheerfulness as he pulled Avin into one of those man hugs." I haven't seen you is so long the south must have been good to you , I would have never guessed that nerdy kid would grow up into a total fox the southern girls must be on you 24/7 "

"Yeah" Avin said awkwardly

"So how have you been man?Any honeys out there Alabama"

"No."

"But my man you got it going on you could have any girl in the sac with the snap of your fingers."

"Erm thanks, I guess."Avin said

"Dude.. Don't tell me. You're still a virgin!?!?! " Avin started to blush madly at the comment "Oh god, Oh sweet Jesus in heaven my boy Avin is still a virgin, oh god my sides"

"Denis what the hell !" I said as I smacked Denis upside his head. "Excuse us." I say to Avin as I take Denis by his collar and get him down to my level "Denis have you lost your mind!?How is he suppose to know when."

"What?! I was hoping after he saw my charming face and witty remarks he'd have to remember me. Dennis O'Connor is not an easy man to forget "

"Denis so help me god if we weren't on school property ohhh I'd sharkeisha you so hard right now it's not even funny"

"Pffftt do something midget" he said looking down on me.

"Who are you calling a midget you beanpole. I'm not even that short you just have pasta noodles for limbs! "

"I'm sorry I can't hear you from all the way up here "

Denis and I kept arguing until we heard a laugh.Not just any laugh the Avin laugh. The laugh that id been waiting to hear since he left.We we're both stunned.

Until Avin stopped laughing and said "You guys are really funny but the P.E bell rang and i haven't had lunch yet so ill see you guys later " He left flashing us the signature Avin grin.

"Oh my, that boys out for my heart " Denis said putting his hand on his chest pretending to swoon.

"Youre not funny" i said as i hit him in the chest.

"OUCH!" he responded "my nipples are sensitive"

"Well I dont have time to waste with you and your sensitive nipples,Im hungry and we have like 5 more minutes of lunch left and im not trying to get stuck with the chicken pattys " I say my good byes and beeline for the cafeteria.

By the end of the day im exhausted and ready to leave, counting down the last minutes of sixth period like h.s. musical.

As soon as the bell rang I said bye to Josh and Maria and headed home.I was so ready tell my mom how Avin had come back it was bubbling inside me. As I pulled up into our drive way I saw an unfamiliar car in front of it I just ignored it since its around thanksgiving maybe one of the neighborhood had relatives over.

I hoped out my car then unlocked my front door and ran inside "MOM!! " I kept yelling until I found her baking in the kitchen talking to someone, probably on bluetooth .Normally I would wait but had to share this news "Mom you wont believe what happened,Mom Avins is-" as soon as i said that I saw a boy with blonde hair and green eyes walk into the kitchen.

"Right here in our house sweety" my mom said as I stood there like deer in head lights.
