Between Us

        Hey, I'm Jason Thibault,21 years old,and I've a friend name Mike and also let me introduce you to my neighbor, Shadia, she's only live by her own since her parents died in a car accident when she was 13. She's my childhood friend too, she's 19 years old now, we get through everything together since we were a kid, especially when her parents died my parent take a good care of her until she can live by her own and she's also a good listener, I'll always tell her if I get a problem because I trust her the most.

"Wait are you breaking up with me?!"- "Hm yeah, I'm getting bored"- harsh isn't? but I don't give a damn care, I just broke up with Caron which is my fourth time being in a relationship, well it's just not working out. You guys probably wonder why I did that right? Why I'm so mean, well I learned from the past that there's no such a thing as love in this world, why? Let me tell you a story,

A years ago,

       "Babe, I'm tired I'm sorry but can we cancel tonight plan?"-"Oh it's alright then"-I don't want her to force herself if she tired then it's fine. Ellie is my first girlfriend ever and I love her so much, she changes my whole life. That night I hang out with Mike since the date with Ellie is already canceled. We at a restaurant talking and suddenly I saw someone that I recognize and guess what it's Ellie, she with a guy they're so close to each other and Ellie give that guy a kiss on the cheek right in front of me since Ellie didn't know I was there so I give a surprise to her, I went to her table and I can tell by her face she looks pretty shocked. "Hey Jason, um what are you doing here?"-"Oh nothing but you see, I was just having a conversation with Mike and don't worry I'm not like cheating on you or what but wait what about you? Looks like you've got someone to be with you tonight, if I'm not wrong I thought you said you were tired? Didn't you?"- "Jason it's not what it looks like"- "I'm sorry buddy to interrupt your time with her it's okay you can take her, since I don't wanna be with a trash, and you know what Ellie, Mike was right this whole time when he says that you're cheating on me, we almost got into a fight everytime we talk about you, and now I know the truth and it's happen right in front of me"- I said that to her new boyfriend while give him a little pat on his back including her, and Mike pulls me away and drove me home. "Are you alright dude?"- "I'm fine, If she doesn't want me she should just tells me, not by doing this shit"-"Relax Jason, wanna go drink?"-"I'm good just take me home,"-Then, Mike took me home and he doesn't say any word after that. We arrived at my house around 12 o'clock in the middle of the night. "See you later Mike, thanks for the ride"-"Not a big deal". Before I enter my house I decided to talk with Shadia about what happened, I feel empty on the inside, don't you guys ever feel that? When you truly love someone, trust them and then they destroyed you within a second.

"Shadia! Shadia!"- I shout out loudly, in front of her house, to be honest at that time I'm about to cry, come on guys who don't sad when you just got cheated on even you're a man we still have a heart too right? stumbled in front of her door, I can't describe how I feel at that time, my heart was broken, Ellie is the first girl ever that own my heart and what she just did is completely destroyed my heart into pieces. Shadia must be sleeping already at this time, so I turn around and before I started walking the doors is open, "Jason? What's wrong?"- "Shadia,"- I said softly and put my head slowly on her shoulder, I can't hold it any longer so I just cry letting all out, She hugs me without saying anything.She took me inside and we sit on a couch. "What's wrong Jason? Is something happens?"- "She cheated on me,She with another guy, I saw it right in front of me, I believe her, I truly love her but, why Shadia? What did I do wrong? Why she has to do this shit, I hate it Shadia"- I said with tears in my eyes, "Jason, it's not your fault, at least you see it in front of your eyes right? I know you're strong, come on give me a smile, Jason that I know is a strong person , am I right? "- Shadia always get to make me smile, the way she comfort me feels nice, after all she is my best friend, but at that moment I've decided "Shadia, you know what? I don't wanna be a good boy, a loyalty anymore, I'm done with all of this stuff, I'll never be serious in any relationship, I'll play with girls heart, now, I want them to feel what I feel"- "Jason, you can't do like that, there's innocence girl out there, you can't play with their hearts, Please don't "- I knew Shadia will not agree with this but I made up my mind already and once I decided I'll do it and no one can stop me. "Don't worry"- that's all that I can say.

Present,

"Jason, yo dude!"- "Oh hey Mike"-I've not seen Mike since the last five month cause he was busy with his work. "Long time no see buddy, look at you now it's look like you get your body work out a little don't you?"-"Yeah, just to show off to all the girl out there how unlucky they are to not having me,"- "Are you really serious about being that kind of boy? you know that Shadia didn't agree with this right? come on dude, Don't tell me that Ellie is the reason you end up like this"- I don't care what they wanna say to me, I've hurt so I knew how it feels like, no one can change me. "Wanna go drink dude?"- I change the topic and even it's already late I kinda want to have some drink. "I'm sorry I can't now I've work tomorrow maybe next time"- "It's alright then,"- I went home and when I arrived at the house I see Ellie's car in front of my house but when I check in my house she wasn't there. Suddenly, "What did I ever do to you, just leave me alone!"- "You take him away from me you stupid!"- that voice I knew that voice, I run to Shadia's house immediately when I heard Shadia screaming What does Ellie want with Shadia?
