I glared at all of them and met each person's gaze and the woman general nodded lightly at me. She seemed to like me. I nodded lightly back and met the head general's eyes who was glaring me. I glared right back and walked out of the tent and walked to the gates and kicked it open with Alesia at my side and waited outside. My cape snapped in the wind and I looked up at the wall protecting the fortress. the generals all stood at the top, some were looking pleased and others were smirking at me. The gates closed behind me and I heard the locks snap shut. Kyro looked murderous and frustrated. Clove looked worried and fearful as she clutched the front of the wall. A scroll was thrown down to the grass and I picked it up and read it.

Crown Princess Saphira,

We're not helping. I have decided not to aid filth such as you.

The Head Commander

I met the commander's smirking eyes and smirked right back.

"Alright." I said calmly and held the scroll in my hands before letting blue fire erupt in my hand and the scroll was burned to ash. I closed my eyes and then opened them again to let the whole eye dilate. the whole eye glowed vivid blue like water and I unclasped my cape from my shoulders and let it fall to the ground. I pulled out my two swords and twirled them in my hands before touching Alesia's neck and she shimmered in mist and appeared next to Clove on the wall. I met the rebel leaders eyes and he scoffed at me as I stood on the grass and he made a single movement with the flick of his finger. I laughed. Threw my head back and laughed before tossing my swords into the air and they hovered before the whole three hundred or so rebels charged. I raised my hand palm up and waited. The whole gang of rebels charged and I waited til they all were on the grass and sweeped my hand to the side and my bladed cut through the first ranks. Bodies fell to the grass and blood seeped out and stained the grass crimson. Men paused then kept running and my blades got to work and I spread both palms up and flames lit my hands and my essence leaked out of my body and hovered in blue light around my body. Forming a shield of sorts around me. I let the flames change to whips and slaughtered the rest of the rebels that charged forward. The bodies lay strew across the ground and I observed them all before reaching my hand out and the bodies turned to crimson roses. Each one stood out in the field of grass vibrantly and the world seemed to pause for a moment before I put my blades away and my dragon purred in content.

'You did well Saphira. It's always an honor to be fighting with you.' My dragon purred in my mind and I chuckled.

'It's always an honor to be you humble vessel.' I said softly in my mind and my dragon seemed content and left my mind to reside in my body. I summoned my cape to me and it floated across the grass before resting on my shoulders and I turned my glowing eyes towards the wall.

"Coward." I hissed out and the head commander gulped. I let my body glide upward and placed one foot on the wall and balanced there. Staring down on the commanders and generals who refused to help. He trembled as I watched on. Eyes that radiated a heat even my skin could feel.

"You can't do anything. This would mean war." He cried out and I reached my fingers out and they hovered in the air. A single flame flashed across my skin and I watched as it traveled up my arm and sparked in lightning. My clothing was catching fire but I ignored the flames. Blue light flashed in the form of lightning a few feet away. Everyone ducked and a few people ran away from me. I allowed the flame to grow in my hand, half my cloak on fire and the sun was being blocked out by black ash.

"If you ever think of threatening me again. I'll have you know... I don't miss a second time." I said and a flash of lightning struck straight down. The commander cried out in fear as it hit my shoulder. And stayed there. the lightning hovered on my shoulder til I reached up and clasped it in my hand. It formed a ball and I tossed it up into the air and it hovered obediently. My hands spread in a sharp upward motion and the ball flew into the clouds. And exploded. The light shook the ground, and a single flame of blue streaked the sky. I summoned it down to me and it wrapped around my form and melted into my flesh. Taking a deep breath, I let my eyes settle back to their striking electric blue and I stopped hovering on the wall.

"Move." I snarled out and jumped off the wall. The general's parted as I walked past and down the stairs. Alesia trotted down to me and I saddled her.

"I will take my leave Generals. Please, don't hesitate to send a message if you wish for me." I replied coldly and Kyro walked down and got onto his horse as well as Clove. We galloped out of the camp and I grinned as the wind swept back my hair in ripples. I wanted to go home. To the powerful water and gentle cold. To my kingdom. The homesickness struck me like a dagger. Ripping a hole through my heart and causing an ache in its place. We rode to the Crimson Castle and pulled up at the gates. The Summer Palace was beautiful but not what I wanted. I wanted water and cold. Suddenly it felt too hot. Too suffocating. I felt like a mermaid having withdrawal from water. I got off of Alesia and walked to the stable silently. A idea floating in my head. The thought of water overflowing my senses. I needed a bath or something. I got Alesia comfortable and gave her space to roam around before walking up to Clove.

"Little sister. I need a favor." I began and she smiled at me and nodded.

"What?"

"I need you to take me to a pool, wide spot of water, area of water." I asked and she smiled and nodded again. Understanding.

"There's a large body of water in the palace here. It helps me focus. I'll take you to it." I sighed in relief and hoped that home would feel like that water. We walked up to a large pond.

"This was where Kyro and I first met. In this hall. He said I could use it. I'll join you." Clove said and I took off my armor til I was just in a shirt and pants. I jumped in and let the water surround me. Swallowing me in flowing arms. I sank to the bottom and felt a hand touch my forearm. My eyes opened to spot Clove smiling in front of me. She gestured to the surface and I nodded before floating the the top of the pool.

"What were you thinking about?" Clove asked and I frowned.

"I wasn't. It just felt calm. Why?"

"You started controlling the water. It was creating a current." Clove explained and I laughed and smiled. The edges of my eyes beginning to shine in embarrassment.

"Sorry." I sank back under the water and hit the bottom. Laying against the bottom of the pool and breathing in. Water filling my lungs and then swooshing out at a exhale. I smiled at the feeling and continued to breath in and out. Feeling the current dance around my body and drag me around. I let it twist and whip my body around before surfacing again and breathing in air.

"Saphira! My gods!" Clove cried and I glanced at her. She was standing a few feet away looking frantic.

"What's wrong Clove?"

"I thought you had drowned! You were underwater for a hour and a half!"
