Chapter 2 - Feelings

Ochaco's POV:

I face plant on to my bed as I recall the events that happened earlier today. There was only one thing that I was able to think about:

Deku

I can't believe he saved me from that horrible man. He didn't have to save someone like me. But I guess he only did it because we are friends. I mean, I know I have a crush on him but I don't think it will ever go any farther than that. Oh stop it Ochaco, it's just a stupid silly crush.

I bury my face further into my pillow as I continue to think about today. Wait, could Deku like me?

That hug that we had earlier was different, not like any other we have had before. It was more sincere and I felt like I wanted that hug that last forever. It made me feel...safe.

I have to make It up to Deku somehow, maybe I can treat him lunch, ice cream or something. I know it's not much but I would like to make up somehow.

I continue to think about I could make it up to Deku for the brave deed he did for me just when I heard a knock on my door.

I jump up from my bed and walk over to my door. I slowly open it and it just so happens to be Deku.

"Hey, just wanted to make sure everything was okay." He said. How sweet, he wanted to make sure everything was okay.

"Yeah, everything is fine!" I started. "U-Uh listen, I'd like to make it up to you for you doing your heroic acts today. Would you like to go back to the mall tomorrow and I'll treat you to lunch?" I asked.

"Y-Yeah sure. That sounds like fun, I can also go back and buy those swimming trunks I never got a chance to buy earlier today." He grinned, and then put his hand on this neck. He blushed a little. Aww he looks so cute when he blushes.

"Haha, sorry about that." I giggled, I felt my face heat up slightly. "You can get those swimming trunks too." I said. "So, would 11am be good?" He asked. "Yep, perfect!" I responded.

"Great, I'll see you tomorrow. Good night!" He waved. "Night!" I said and then closed my door.

Did I do it? Did I just ask Deku out on a date?! No, it's not really a date. But, it'll be just me and him so it would have to be like one I guess. Oh, I hope it doesn't get to awkward. Remember Ochaco, it's just a silly crush I have on him, nothing special.

I pick up my phone to check what time it was and see that I have a new text. Oh, it's from Mina. It reads:

"Hey! I just saw that you talking to Deku and overheard that you guys are going back to the mall tomorrow. Sounds like you got a date ;)"

I jumped slightly at reading the last part which caused me to loose grip of my phone and drop it. Thankfully it landed on my bed. I pick it back up and text back:

"No no, it's not what you think, I'm just treating him to lunch. Nothing else."

A few moments pass by and she responds:

"I knowwwww, it's a date. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone ;)"
"Anyways, it's getting late, good night!"

I texted back "Good night." And then put my phone down. Geez, it is getting late. Almost midnight, gotta get some rest.

Deku's POV:

I can't believe it! Uraraka just asked me if I wanted to go back to the mall again with her tomorrow! Wait..does that mean it's a date?! No, she's just being nice be treating me out to lunch as a way of thanking me, that's all. Nonetheless I still want to go and have to make sure I look nice for tomorrow.
