I AM DEFINITELY NOT READY FOR TONIGHT.

Shit. Fuck. Omg. I swore too much. Should've stop it.

The gala started at 7 and the time shows 5 now. I still have 2 hours before the gala.

So...

Being the smart ass I was, I climbed out of the window and landed roughly on the grass.

Ouch!

I brushed myself off and ran to McDonalds. It would be a disaster if I ran to the Petersons household.

I ran all the way to McDonalds, consider that it's only a five-minute walk but I almost peed myself from all that running. God bless me.

I went inside and McDonalds is seriously crowded as fuck. I plopped down a seat at the corner and buried my face on my arms. Then, I called Chris in hurry.

"Chris, get your ass in here or else I'd buried you deep in your grandma's trash can." I said with a calm but dangerous tone.

"Wait, why? For fuck sakes you're insane. Give me 10 minutes." He said and end the call immediately.

Ten minutes later and that fucker haven't come yet. Where is he?

Then, a figure plopped down a seat infront of me.

"What took you so-" I stopped the sentence when I looked up at the person.

"Are you seriously ditching the gala?" Caleb Peterson asked me.

When in the hell this little shit sat here?

"No and shut up."

The door flew open and Chris appeared with a confused look on his face.

"Why are you here?" Venom filled his words as Chris looked at Caleb Peterson.

"I can go wherever I want." Welp.

Then, Caleb Peterson went away from us and winked at me.

Ugh, gross.

"What are you doing here?" Chris asked me.

"I think there will be a big trouble at the gala and I want you to be careful." I bluntly said to him.

Amusement and shocked written all over his face and a smirk was curved on his lips.

"Are you implying that you cared about me?" The smirk was still there and I would gladly wiped that smirk off of his face.

"Whatever. I gotta go." I said quickly and went into my car and drove to the gala like a madman.

***

The gala were surprisingly crowded and people were dressed formally. I changed my casual shirt in the bathroom and quickly wear my dress. I didn't want my family questioned me like a wrecked train.

I smoothed my dress and saw plenty of teenagers to the snack bar. I approached them and waved them a hello and a smile. Some of them returned them and some of them looked so hostile of me.

I grabbed a piece of brownie and eat it slowly. At least I kept my image well. I immediately spotted Chris at the entrance and he looked devilishly handsome.

What the hell am I thinking for god sakes?!

I shuddered at the thought and went towards Chris but my family beat me onto it.
