I woke up the next morning to the blinding light came from the window. I was also presented with a very bad headache ever. My head felt like it could explode anytime soon. I groaned in frustration. I would never drink that much anymore.

"Oh my, are you awake my dear?" A very gentle yet unfamiliar voice greeted me.

My eyes snapped open as I registered the silhouette standing beside me. I could not really see her face as the blinding sunlight behind her was hindering me from looking at her properly without having to squint my eyes.

Am I in heaven? Did I really jumped off the bridge?

"Where am I?"

The woman now sit beside me on the bed and finally I could clearly see her face. She was old enough to be my mother yet she was vey beautiful. Her long auburn hair were tied into a neat bun as her pink lips were decorated with the most charming smile which I found it quite familiar.

"You're at my house, Isaac's house." She answered gracefully and I lost.

"Who the hell is Isaac?" I said it more to myself but she must heard it.

"Oh silly me! I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Maria Donovan, Isaac's mom. Though I wish we could exchange pleasantry in more pleasant situation but who am I to complain right? I'm just an old mother of three boys who is dreading the days they would introduce me to a decent girl. I just told him yesterday to introduce me to his girlfriend soon and I never thought it would be this soon. I am not ready and I..."

"Woah, wait a minute." I cut off her rant when I see that she was far from ending it soon and I was getting more confused. "Who is Isaac?"

She was shocked as she abruptly stood up with her hands on her mouth. Her hazel eyes widen a size larger. "Oh my goodness, you're not sober yet are you? You know I don't really have much experience with girls since my house filled with boys and their stupid testosterones. Is this how a girl would be when she is hangover? I had never been drunk since I became a mother and I don't really remember what happened back then." She then took my hand and squeeze it lightly. Her eyes now filled with something if I was not mistaken, determination.

What the hell was she determined about?

"Okay let me help you." She then pushed the strand of my hair that covered my face to the back of my ear. "Isaac Donovan is your boyfriend and I'm Maria Donovan, his mother. You were drunk last night when he brought you home. Isaac is in the shower since he only get to shower now because you would not let him go at all last night even though you were asleep. You clutched to his shirt like a koala hanging on the tree. It was so cute." she paused to pinch my cheek. "but don't worry I'm not a conservative mother." She finished with a wink which she failed miserably to do. She closed both of her eyes instead of one.

I was about to say something when another voice came in. "Mum! What are you doing here? I told you to never enter my room without my permission. I thought I changed the lock."

I turned my face towards the voice's direction only to see shirtless Mr. Nice Guy whom I now figured as Isaac Donovan. And I blushed. His body was well built with muscle in every right place.

Maria scoffed. "Part of your brain was made up of my DNA. It's not a big deal just to get into my own son's room. Besides, I'm just checking out your beautiful girlfriend to see if she is okay."

"Thank you for the concern mum. But I think you need to go. We need privacy, I need privacy to change." When she would not budge he added "Please."

"Whatever. You don't even mind to wander in this house butt naked before." she mumbled obviously unsatisfied to be kicked out as she walked out the door and and Isaac groaned at his mother's word.

He quickly locked the door and turned to me. "Remind me to change the lock again next time. I can't even breath if she has the key to my room. She would pop up every 5 minutes."

I chuckled at his words. "So, you're Isaac? My boyfriend huh?"

"Sorry I didn't manage to explain about that to my mum  and sorry again I don't even tell you my name but I already take you home. I was going to send you to your house but then I was afraid if your parents might kill me since you're obviously underage and drunk. I don't want them to think I am a bad influence to you not that I want to impress them or anything but..."

My heart swell at his words and I laugh heartily. He stopped as soon as he realised he was rambling and grin sheepishly. "You and your mother are really alike. No DNA test needed."

"It runs in the genetic I guess." He said as he slid a shirt over his head and I was disappointed to see his body was now covered with shirt.

"I'm Kiera."

"I know. Sorry I went through your purse last night to find out your address."

"It's okay. I don't mind."

"How are you feeling?" He asked as he sit on the edge of the bed beside me. I was now seated with my back against the bed headboard.

"Not great. I wish I can detach my head right now." I said as I rubbed my temple.

He chuckled. "I thought so based on your condition last night. Come here, let me help you." He motioned me to come closer to him and I obeyed him since I would do anything to cease my headache.

He reached for my head and start to massage my temple gently. As soon as his hand touch me, a strange new feeling, electrifying and thrilling, ran through my body. My heart fluttered and I could feel the butterflies in my stomach. He was very gentle as if he was afraid I would break if he put more force. I closed my eyes to enjoy his touch.

"Am I doing okay?"

"Yeah, you're great. I might come back just to get a massage." I joked and we both laugh.

"The pleasure is all mine." He said and with my eyes closed I could tell that he was smiling. And I smiled too.

We were then settled in comfortable silence as he continues to massage my temple. I really enjoyed his company.

However our moment didn't last for too long as the door burst open. "Hey Isaac, do you see my boxer...shit" said a guy whom appear to be almost identical to Isaac except that he looked younger and pant-less. He stopped halfway as he noticed my presence and he looked at us knowingly. There was a mischievous glint in his eyes.

I ducked my head to save my poor eyes.

"Mum! There's a girl inside Isaac's room!" He shouted loud enough for the whole house to hear before he ran away.

I looked up at Isaac when I was sure that guy was no longer there with his item on public display. Isaac just rolled his eyes obviously annoyed.

"Sorry about that. He's Aiden. My younger brother. He can be shameless sometimes." He muttered apparently embarrassed with his own brother.

"I figured he's a very proud guy."

Isaac shake his head. "The only girl in this house is my mum, so we are...you know...quite carefree." He said as he blushed. "I hope my family does not scare you away, because I intend to be with you...longer."

Now it was my turn to blush. What was it with us and blush? We were like kids, but I could not deny I like this feeling.

"I'm Kiera Martino and there's nothing much that can scare me. And I'm sure your brother's naked butt is not in the list." I said and we both laugh.

It's been a long time since I felt this happy, genuinely.
