haunted house story

THIS IS MY FIRST STORY SO SORRY FOR ANY MISTAKES

One day I decided I will visit the haunted house down the road; I like adventure so this should be fun for me and give me the adrenaline rush I have grown to love but also hate because of the risks it involves. When I reach the door to the haunted house I contemplate if I should do this or not? Or should I ask a friend to come with me? After a few seconds of constant questions I decide to walk in.

When I'm in the house I can feel a very uneasy chill around the house and also a weary silence I could feel the presence of many but cannot see another living soul, when I walk more into the house I trip on something I didn't see it till I stood clear of the mystery object on the floor when I finally got a good look at it I was shocked it was ....... The most horrifying, disgusting and vile sight I have ever seen. It was a dead body with the biggest maggots that where as big as rats they were humongous compared to the little ones. I walk a bit closer to get a good view it looks like he had been shot there was a clean shot straight through the head I can still see the brain splatter that was dried on the floor.

After the shock had left my body of what I had discovered, I continued to walk on throughout the house I finally got upstairs to where most people say that they see the murders that took place being re-enacted by the spirits of the people themselves; after a few minutes in the room multiple spirits made themselves present after a few minutes more the start the re-enactment

Re-enactment

It was 1985 and there where many family and friends round for dinner to celebrate their riches, half way through the meal there was a knock at the door on of the residence answered the door somewhat confused to whom it may be he opened the door when suddenly..... 'BANG' a few seconds later all you could see was a lifeless body who has just taken his very last heavy breath and blood dripping from the back of his head still warm but growing cold, the very sight that sent chills down everyone's body in the house was that half his brain was now on the floor all the knowledge it one held was now was turning into memory's which will remain on the floor of the now empty and now haunted residence.

Re-enactment over

After the re-enactment, I was horrified that I had just seen the murder. I felt horrified and had nausea at the sight of the thick dark red blood that came out the man's head like an erupting volcano. Shortly after I got over the initial shock, I was left with the sense of grief for the man and his family. Once I got my thought and emotions straightened out, I wanted to leave but had a strange feeling, a feeling that something bad was going to happen. But I ignored the dark feeling had occurred and made my way back to the front door. When I got to the door, it was locked and how ever hard I tried I could not get th3e door to shift.

When I realized that the door was not going to open I got confused because I was the only one in the house.... Or so I thought.

I decided that I would look around for another door or a window, so I started with the dining room when I walked in I saw a giant mirror, this mirror was plain and old but that was not the thing that stood out to me. On the mirror was letters that read to be "you can't run you can't hide, you will be my next kill" in fresh, dark and disgusting blood witch made my own blood run cold and my face to turn pale. I have never been so scared until now, I looked at the mirror again but the blood was gone but in my reflection I saw a ghostly figure behind me. I screamed hoping that what my mother always said to me was true that the ghost can't hurt you. I stood there froze hoping for a miracle, a miracle which is impossible but the only thing that I could hope for.

When I thought that I was a little safer then I was when I first saw the ghost I turned around there was other ghost that had appeared and they started another re-enactment.
