 Crash. Fire. Sirens.Dead

Melody woke up, covered in cold sweat. She panted while clutching her chest, looking around. Her ears were perked up, listening to everything around here. She looked around and saw some familiar things, her desk, bed, window. I'm in my room, she thought, she then closed her eyes and loosen the muscles if her ears to let them fall down. She sighed to herself. Then rested her left arm on the arm of the chair and her right hand in her lap.

She looked down at her paw. It was covered in brown fur, just like the rest of her body. Red markings could been seen all across her body as well, across her cheeks, around her arms and legs, on her stomach, on her ears, the top of her head, along with two little grey goat horns, and at the end of her two fox tails. Her fur was messy, but she didn't care, she stopped caring for it after a while, just became a little pointless to her.

She leaned back in her chair and looked over at the right arm of it. The chair was a pale green, and the dust that it was collecting was making it look paler. And the spot were the sun would lay across it wasn't helping. There were a few rips here and there, making it lose some of its comfort, but it didn't bother her, it was still her favorite spot in the house, even if it was in her room, in the attic.

Melody looked around, she liked the addict. It was calm and peaceful up here. It also held memories of her family's history, mainly her parents and grandparents. A few things up there were interesting. There were old lamps on her dresser, she never had them lit, because she was scared that it would catch fire and burn down there house. She wasn't really scared of the fire, she could just walk through that, or just control it, but the rest of her family, probably not. There were old photos of her grandparents, hanging on that wall, they were holding awards, smiling. They were standing next to great heroes. Well. mainly because they were one of them.

Her grandparents were heroes. they saved countless lives, kijjaren's from burning buildings, kijjaren's from drowning, they even saved city's of kijjaren's during the war. Yup, they were heros alright. Kijjaren's from all over the world would come around just to see them and there team. They were gone now, they were said to have died on a ship, Mel never believed that story fully, but oh well, what can you do? But even though they were gone, many kijjas still saw them as heroes.

Her eyes trailed away from the photos and onto the boxes. They were piled up in unneat stacks, she was still surprised they hadn't fallen yet. Each had a different shade of brown, and they all had some dents, a few had hole were mice at gotten. They each had a label on them, altho they were hard to read because dust was collecting over them.

books, paper and pencils, read one. Desk parts , read another. The one labeled desk parts was open, and the contents inside were scattered across the floor. She tried putting putting it together, but gave up after a while. On the left side of the room was a bed, covered in an ocean blue blanket, and the wood at the top and bottom were chipped. 7 feet in front of the bed was a staircase that lead down stairs. She had asked her ant if she could move upstairs, after quite a bit of arguing, she had finally agreed, but that didn't stop her ant from asking one questions to another about if she would move out of the addict.

Melody felt a sting in her leg and quickly jumped up. She looked over at the chair, looking from one of its legs to the other, until finally she noticed something. One of the legs had an old rusty nail sticking out. "Oh, right" .she said to herself after a while. she sighed to herself, and then turned over and walked over to her writing desk, its was on the other side of the room. There was a wooden chipped chair slip underneath it, most of the white paint on it had been broken away. The desk was a dark brown, maple wood. There were two drawers on each side, sitting on top was a green lamp that you could bend around.
