"Yea hello. Who is this?" I requested. Recently I have been getting calls from unknown persons lately and it was getting me worried. I wondered to myself as I waited for the caller's response.

"Hello, is this Segun?"

Oh great, you suddenly don't know whose number you dialed huh?

"I'm sorry, you're the one calling remember?" I answered curtly which surprised me.

"Oh pardon me. I am Charles, I got your number from 'fb. This is Segun right?"

Who on earth steals contacts from people's profile nowadays?
Halt, I don't remember dropping my contacts on Facebook. Now I see why I've been getting anonymous calls recently. But why are this guys from Facebook.

"Yes. Yes this is Segun."

I felt irritated. Why is he laughing? What's amusing him? The name? Darn it, his voice sounded heavenly and calm. That baritone voice every guy dream of in a guy, like the Odunlade Adekola voice.

"I'm glad you find that amusing but I don't have the whole day ok?"

"Oh! I'm sorry. Your voice is as cute as your face."

Ok some guys needs to change this pick up lines really, who says that again? I rolled my eyes and shaked my head. "Thanks Charles."

"You're welcome honey. Where are you?"

"Home."

He giggled and it sounded as though he laughed. Replete of harmony and manliness.

"Where is that?"

Ok if this guy didn't have that voice, I would have dropped the call right before we started a conversation. He was getting on my nerves plus I was busy cleaning my mum's room before he called and I had to halt to receive his call but now I think he was becoming annoying.

"Ok, I stay in Lag and as much as I would love to listen to your sweet annoying voice I am sorry I have to go now, I am too busy to talk."

"Ok wait, let's hook-up. I stay in Festac, can you visit?"

Ok this guy needs to invest more on how to woo whoever. Who says that to a guy you steal his contact from 'fb on a first interaction which isn't even visual. I like guys who where precise and direct though but this guy was more than that, he was something I can't figure.

"No." I replied plainly and hanged up and there after switched off my phone cause I knew he definitely will call back.
I bent down, picked the broom and started swiping the grey coloured tile.

I couldn't get his voice off my head, it sounded so divine and exact. I didn't know gays had guys with such masculine vibrant voices, must gays tends to either sound feminine or as though they had nose for mouth which sometimes can be a turn off. But this caller, that Charles was totally different from the rest.

Yay! Another book guys. What do you think about this first chapter?

xoxo. Dami
