Eren's pov
Silence
Not a sound.
An odd occurrence in its self. Not one Titan in sight, what the hell is going on?!
As we walk through the forest I hear
A high pitch scream. Not a loud scream, but loud enough to make me and the rest of our small patrol group turn in the general direction it came from. And off we went, Levi in the lead while me and Mikasa were close on his heels. As we approach where the scream came from, we are confronted with a medium sized Titan, and a very shocked looking little girl crouching beside 2 seemingly unconscious boys. Without a second thought I went charging in with mikasa close behind. The Titan started leaning down about to grab the defenceless girl, the girl then got into a fighting stance about to attack the Titan at any given moment. As the Titan was about to grab her she... disappeared? All of a sudden she appeared beside the Titans torso and gave him a nice punch to the gut. Shocked, but we decided to take this chance to kill the Titan. With a nice clean cut to the neck, the Titan was down. We immediately ran towards the 3 kids.
" what the hell are you brats doing out here?! " Levi practically screamed at them. The little girl looked at him ticked off. " well hell if I know! We don't even know where here is! And don't call me a brat! " the girl yelled back at Levi. " And what the hell was that thing?! " the girl pointed to the now dead Titan. Me, Mikasa and Levi stood there in shock. How does she not know what a Titan is?!? " that's a Titan! How do you not know what a Titan is?! " I yelled in utter disbelief. The girl just shrugged and looked down at the two unconscious boys. She then looked back up at us. " do you possibly have a place to stay, we obviously don't know where we are." She said looking down at the two boys again then looking back up. Levi looks a bit hesitant, but me and Mikasa managed to convince him.
" alright fine, follow me brats. Mikasa, your taking the sassy brat. And Eren, your taking the to boys. Now hurry up, we don't got all day." Levi said quietly mumbling about how much of a hassle this is. "But sir, how am I supposed to carry 2 unconscious boys back to the base? " I asked confused while looking at the two boys. " figure it out " Levi said getting onto his horse with a look of dis-interest.
" yes sir. " I said a bit annoyed.
