"Bro Segun! Bro Segun!!"
My brother tapped me repeatedly, I mumbled 'hmm' in between sleep.
"Mummy said it's time for morning devotion."
"Argh! Really Temi?" I groaned tossing and turning in bed. "Go and tell her I am coming ah." I sat up in bed, hoping he would leave, immediately he left, I threw myself back to bed continuing from where I was interrupted and hoping they would forget me.
Then I heard my mum yelled from her room.
"You just let me come there and meet you So gbo!""Oh ooh!" I threw my legs and hands in the air grumbling and murmuring, this woman argh! I reluctantly walked to her room, sat on her king size bed that literally occupied a lager space in the room. Her room was painted two colours, green and purple, with the wardrobe standing tall against the wall on the right and a huge dressing mirror right beside the wardrobe on the left. I settled on the bed frowning and wanting to sleep some more.
"You should have waited na, let's see if you will be able to sleep on that bed for two weeks." I murmured and eyed my other siblings who just sat there half awake, dozing and knocking there heads down.
"Oya wakeup you two." She said hitting them hard "Kunle, oya worship, then Temi praise and you Segun, opening prayer then I will do the closing prayer then we all share the grace.."
It is 3:27 and it's Wednesday, my mum got back from work quit earlier than usual, I muttered a welcome and she walked into the parlour.
"Bawoni?" She asked looking tired and worn out.
"Fine. What happened? Why are you back early today?" I asked face glued to the TV, watching Nat Geo wild.
"A friend would be coming over and staying till Sunday, so I came early to prepare something for them should in case they arrive famished."
Now that got my attention.
"Do I know this friend?" I asked sharply.
"Yes." She said raise a brow at me. "You do. It's Mrs Johnson."
"Oh, 'mummy Ghana'? Is she back?" Mrs Johnson who's also known as 'mummy ghana' has always been friends with my mum since my high school days.
When ever she visits, she'd buy things like wears, foodstuffs and jewelries. But what she was coming to do at our house was what I don't understand, normally when she comes back, she would lodge in an hotel or guesthouse and we would go visit her there."Why is she coming here instead of the hotels?"
"I don't know though." She thought a little while and gave up. "You will go to Ma' Nonso ask her to give you fish 500 naira and one kilo of turkey, let's prepare stew and white rice with vegetables."

I need a job, I need a guy, I need sex. I thought to myself as I laid in bed staring into space. I picked my phone, opened twitter and posted.
Anyone in Ogun state or Lagos, inbox me let's hook-up.
Then my mind went back to Charles, he wanted to hook-up and I was here acting like I didn't care. I cared, really I do but he came at the wrong time; I didn't save his number plus he stayed far away from where I was.
I left twitter for IG, the first post that greeted me was Mercy Aigbe's pictures. This woman and dresses eh I thought to my self as I scrolled down, then Nikki Minaj picture came up captioned 'pink friday'. There was this thing about Nikki that attracted me so much to her, perhaps her style, music or her body. I scrolled up and came few friends posts, Derele's, Beyonce's, Mercy Johnson's, Phenix then my phone stopped, just then a call came in.
"Yea hello." I said flatly
"Yello to you too." The caller said chuckling."I'm sorry who is this?" There was something about this caller, he sounded familiar.
"Ok this is Charles."
Ok this was Charles coming in at the right time.
"Hey Charles." I hesitated. "Do you still care too hook up?""Yea! Can you come over to Festac or we hook-up somewhere else?"
My mum had left for the airport to pick 'mummy ghana' and wont be back not until four hours later.
"Can you come to tollgate, otta? Like if you could start coming now?"
"Ok, you send me the direction then I will take a quick shower and drive down ok?" Then hanged up.
Oh great, he even has a car. We would do a quickie and he would be gone before mum arrives.
It's been an hour plus since I spoke with Charles, he should be here by now. I looked at my phone and the time was 4:16pm.
I picked my phone and was about to call him when I heard a knock at the gate, that should be him I thought to myself. I got up to get the gate, opened it and in front of me stood
"Boma?"
Language:
Bawoni (how are you)
So gbo (you hear?)
Oya (now)A/N. ok this is a supper long story and I would like to know what you think about Boma's sudden appearance and don't forget to vote and comment.
