Monsters: Sea and Stone

 Late at night a man was walking, the moon was bright and the stars were shining. He did this most nights and yet had never been attacked. He enjoyed the dark, it was so much different then the light of day, which was when most of the world was awke. But at night the monsters came out, shadows played across the normally beutiful gardens into a dark place. Waters that looked inviting in the day, held a sinister look.

 a little ways away there was a girl hiding behind a tree in some bushes shes looked blind she had her shades on but she had a secret under those shades of hers

(sniffing the air the man suddenly turn towards the nearby trees he yelled,) "Whos there, i know your there, show yourself!"

(the girl jumps a bit scared holding her shades to her face she walks out of the bushes dressed in what lookes like a torn up skirt and shirt a little to small for her) 

"Ok then. Who are you girl? Or can you even speak?"

 im duca she says (her voice cutting out)

"Dont talk much, do you? Well Duca, what did you want?"

t-to see you

 "Well i got that part, since you've been following me for the last 2 hours." (the man said in a calming tone.)

(she looked down and steps back shes almost tall enough to fit under the mans chin, shes about 20 but doesnt look it)

"Well young one? What is it you want? Are you in trouble?" (the man said. a bit of a giant, the man still looked gentle, despite caluses on his hands that markes him as a fighter.)

n-no she (steps back mumbeling) b-but you might be

 "Oh, why it that little one?"

(she hides behind a tree)  dont get any closer-she says 

(watching the girl hide again the man said more serious this time)"Why am I in danger?"

i-if you get closer youll find out (the girl said scared her hood being pulled over her face to see her shades had fallen a fiew minuts earlier and she couldnt find them)

 "hmmm?" (the man was intreaged and so followed the girl into the trees.)

 (she steped back falling over a large stump her eyes shot a blue color when they wernt covered and some of the trees turned to stone)

"Gorgon huh? Havent seen you before though." (the man said.) "Dont worry girl, your not the only monster in the night." (His eyes suddenly glowed silver like a full moon.)

(she covers her face a bit) m-my moms m-medusa (she said frightened)

"Your moms a legend. One of many, i guess even legends need children, however i dont remember Medusa being that strong." (the man said.)
