(This is my very first one so please don't judge. I hope you enjoy I guess? Sorry if there are misspelled words.) You woke up to a dark gloomy day, well, to you it was. Everyday was really. You sat up and moved your legs to the side of the bed where they would dangle until you moved off of the bed. Your feet touched the cold hard floor as you sighed and got ready for another depressing day. You managed to get to your closet and throw on some clothes:
After the long process, you walked into the bathroom and flipped on the bathroom switch that made the bathroom come to life. You looked at the sink and turned on the water. The handles were always cold, like the water was. You waited for it to warm and put your index finger in the water for good measure. You then grabbed a towel and wet the it just enough for your liking. You then put it on your face and on the bags under your eyes. This would always seem to wake you up a little, but it was really just a little boost. You hesitated while debating on whether or not to look at the hideous being in the mirror. The being that desperately wanted to be loved. The being that wants to have a life that's not completely full of shadows and demons to haunt it every time it felt the slightest bit satisfied. The being that wanted to have a- *Knock! Knock!* Your thought was interrupted and you moved your eyes to your door. " Get up!" You heard your younger brother yell from the top of his lungs, to purposely annoy you. You gathered air inside your lungs so you could yell at him for trying to get on your bad side, but you honestly just didn't care anymore. You just sighed and brushed your teeth without looking into the mirror. After turning the water off you did work up the courage to take at least one glance at this horrendous figure that dared be in your sight. As you looked at yourself in the mirror you felt fine. For the first time in forever you actually didn't have a negative view of yourself. You gave yourself a weak smile then put your hair in a bun and walked out of your room. Your brother began to taunt you but you pretended that he didn't exist. Your mother had been in the kitchen with two plates on the table. You reached for one of the plates but she stopped you. "That isn't yours." You looked at her with a confused face then just shrugged and grabbed your backpack. Your brother happily walked into the room and sat at the table and dug into his food, that held rich bacon, and scrambled eggs with pancakes and syrup. You looked at him then your mother who was giving you a stern look. "You shouldn't have been ignoring your brother." You were about to say something but just dropped it and just said, "I'm sorry." You walked out of the room to the garage and got on your bike. Once you opened the garage you were off. Riding down the streets. You looked at the trees and envied that they were strong and so free. They were beautiful with the sunrise. The clouds had gotten some of the color from the sunset, which had been a mix of blue and pink and some grayish color. You stomach growled but you ignored it. You moved on to the curb to avoid the cars that were speeding past, making wind blow against your face. A small smile made it's way across your face. You gripped the handles on your bike and enjoyed the feeling of cool air blowing on you. This was one of your "alive" moments. You made your way to your school and chained up your bike. This meant the alive moments were now over, and substituted with fear and anxiety. You looked at the doors and started to make your way inside. There wasn't anyone else there of course. Heck, it was six fifty three. No one should be here until about seven twenty. You breathed in the air and envisioned yourself in a movie. You were breathing in fresh air while the wind blew against your face and you feeling at ease for once, but that didn't happen. Instead, you coughed suddenly, and quickly noticed the smell. It was smoke. You moved your head and saw a figure leaving against the wall. " My cigarette bothering you?" The voice asked with a little attitude. You quickly shook your head and looked at the ground. "Wait..." The person said with a little interest in their voice. You stiffened up and started to plead in your head for them to not recognize you. Like always, things don't go your way. The stranger says, " You're that one girl that can't Read out loud huh?" You cursed yourself in your head but just nodded. "Well you're a f-ing freak ya hear me?" The person said sitting up then throwing their cigarette on the ground and stomping on it. They walked past you bumping purposely into you without any word just a faint chuckle. It turned out to be a male student from your school. You looked down and felt tears start to form in your eyes but you stopped yourself and just sat down on a wall and waited for someone to come and unlock the doors to your school. You looked at the sky again and saw the beautiful colors still there. You took your camera out and took a picture to save the moment. When the photo came out you looked at it and noticed something off...
