Chapter 33: What?

*Next day 

MARINETTE'S POV

I hear my alarm clock. I should get up, but I'm still sleepy. Another day of school... oh wait, I get to see Adrien again! Our relationship definitely escalated quickly. We're barely 14, and we are thinking about getting married. It's definitely crazy how my crush loves me this much.

"Come on, Marinette. I know you're awake. Might as well get ready already!" I hear Tikki tell me.

"Alright, you have a point," I respond to Tikki. 

Once I get ready, I head downstairs to greet my parents. I have been able to get to school early for quite a while. Maybe I can become less clumsy too. I ate my breakfast, and now I'm heading for the exit.

"Bye! Mom and dad!" I tell my parents," they wave bye at me and they look like they're trying to warn me. Oof! So much for becoming less clumsy. I bump into a guys chest. He looks familiar.

"Hey, you're the girl I met at that play, right?" the guy with the gothic look told me. Oh, that's why he looks familiar. He helped me when I dropped all the drinks 

"Y-yeah," I said nervously.

"Well, it was nice seeing you. I just came here to get some yummy pastries," the guy said. 

"Oh, well you came to the right place! My parents make the best pastries!" I said excitedly.

"Wow, this is your parent's bakery! That's so cool. I will definitely come here more often, but I kind of have to hurry to get to school," he said politely.

"Oh, right. I better make my way to school. See ya!" I said. 

I start making my way to school. Hmm, we never got to introduce each other. I mean, what are the odds of seeing him again anyway. 

"Wow, this is the second time you're meeting that boy," I heard Tikki say from my bag.

"Yeah, and I still don't know his name," I answered. 

"Marinette, do you think it's okay if I visit Plagg. Usually, I just stay in your bag, but now, you know Chat Noir's identity," Tikki asked.

"Of course you can! I've always felt bad that you would have to wait for my classes to end. Now, you get to hang out with your friend! Oh, and I've been meaning o ask you something," I told Tikki.

"What did you want to ask?" Tikkis asked innocently.

"Are you and Adrien's kwami... you know... a thing?" I asked Tikki.

"N-no. We are simply great friends. And, we are the opposite of each other. Plagg like smelly things like his cheese, and I love sweet things like cookies," Tikki flusteredly answered.

"You know, opposites attract," I said to her.

She just stayed silent since I am nearing the school. It's cute how she gets flustered as I did with Adrien. I still get flustered though. 

"Hey, you're here! You have to tell us everything!" Alya exclaimed. 

I see Alya, Bridgette, Felix, and Nino waiting for me by the entrance of the school.

"How did you know I was going to get here early?" I asked as I walked up to them.

"We took a gamble," Bridgette responded. Now that I think about it, where was Bridgette last night? I never got to ask my parents because I went straight to sleep. 

"Hey, guys! What's up," I could hear Adrien say as he approached us. 

"Just trying to get your girlfriend to spill the details, bro," Nino answered. He wanted Adrien to affirm that I'm his girlfriend. The rest are also giving us looks of anticipation.
