"A-A-And I-I was w-wondering if you were free, t-to..."
You rolled your eyes, bored stiff waiting for Hinata to finish practicing her confession.
"To clean your windows? Nah, I'm busy with my Sage Jutsu training to defeat Pein, go ask someone else."
Sakura leaned round the tree and whacked you on the head, "Be quiet (Y/N)! You're supposed to be helping Hinata have the courage to express her feelings for Naruto, not mocking her!"
You groaned, "Naruto would've left by now. Plus she's doing this confession all wrong."
"Well if you're so great why don't you have a girlfriend?"
"I'm not looking all that hard? Still if she's going to confess her love it should be somewhere romantic like underneath a Sakura tree, instead of by this dying shrub." You kicked the rotting stump for added effect.
"Come on, I saw some cherry blossoms blowing from that direction." You pointed.
"Okay so Hinata, me and Sakura will demonstrate for you." You decided.
"Shouldn't Hinata be the one you demonstrate with?" Sakura asked, hiding her blush behind her sleeve.
You shook your head, "I think it'll be better if she watches, otherwise she might faint."
"Oh quit bragging!"
"I was joking!" You insisted.
After a few minutes you finally started acting, "Well, I'm here, what did you want to talk about?"
Sakura blushed a gave a cute smile, "I-It's nothing important or anything..."
You took her hands in yours, "Sakura, you look really cute like that you know." You confessed honestly.
Her blush intensified, "(Y/N)... I..."
"Also I... I want you to know, my feelings." You bent your head down to her's, noses almost touching, "I think I'm in love with you, Sakura. So I was wondering if you'd perhaps want to go on a date or something?"
"Y-Yes..." You stroked the side of her face for a moment until she kissed you, her soft lips resting on yours. Both of you had forgotten that Hinata was even there, and that you hadn't intended to go as far as kissing.
"I wasn't lying you know." You whispered, pulling apart for breath but still staying in close contact, as you brushed your fingers through her long pink hair.
"Do you think that'll work with Naruto?" Hinata spoke up at last.
You quickly sprung apart from Sakura, cursing yourself for forgetting where you were.
"If you're confident enough then yes. Try inviting him for ramen though, that should seal the deal." You regained your posture.
"I'd probably let him initiate the kiss though, otherwise he might think you're overconfident and dominating him." Sakura added.
"You kissed (Y/N) first though right?"
Sakura's blazing blush returned, "I guess. That was just because he was moving unbearably slow and my body just moved on its own."
"I tend to have that effect on Sakura."
Sakura smiled at you again and leaned her head on your shoulder, "S-Sakura..." You were expecting to be hit like you always were, but not this time.
"You're also affected by me though, aren't you, (Y/N)?"
You blushed bright red, "Uhm..."
"I-I can't tell if you're still acting or if you're actually in love?" Hinata asked.
You were a blushing silent mess so Sakura replied, "He's in love."
