*Background Knowledge*

Marie and Mary where twins from the d'Clairmont family. Their father owned a major international luxary hotel chain. Their mother was a European fashion designer. Their older brother, Joshua, was a close friend of Tamaki's when he lived in France and often would play cello while Tamaki played piano. The twin's enjoyed Tamaki's comapany along with his mother's. Then the happy group got turned upside down Tamaki had been sent to Japan. But so had Joshua, to keep his childhood friend comapny. With the ability to move with him freely.

The twins on the other hand toured from country to country with a tutor to get their schooling at least until the accident.

Tamaki was in his"corner" sulking. Haruhi had made another backhand comment about the host club. Joshua was chuckling at the scene and working over numbers with Kyoya. While everyone was either trying to bring Tamaki out of this state or lounging around. a petite well built brunette came into the room wearing the schools blazer and a black skirt. She raised an eyebrow at Tamaki as he sat there and sulked on.

"Can I help you? Mori asked standing behind the girl.

She just shook her head and continued to watch Tamaki's episode.

Hunny noticing Mori not next to him scanned the room looking for his cousin. "Mori-san Who's that?" Hunny asked skipping toward the pair with Usa-chan.

"This is Marie d'Clairmont" Mori answered gruffly as Hunny climbed on his back.

Everyone's eyes turned to girl standing infront of Takashi. Then they turned to Joshua. Then back to the girl.

"MARIE!!" Joshua and Tamaki shot up and ran to the younger d'Clairmont tackling her to the ground. 

"I missed you so much!" Tamaki yelled into her ear. The duo made a complete mess of her outfit. Between their water works display and and hugging her. She looked like a mess but she lightly smiled and rolled her eyes at their antics and waited for the inevitable question to come.

"Marie, where's Mary?" Joshua asked looking behind his sister for her double. Marie's eyes clouded and her light smile turned sad.

"Joshua can I talk to you and Tama-san outside for a moment please?" Her voice was barely above a whisper as she made her request. Tamaki and Joshua both nodded and followed Marie outside the music room, where she told then the fate of her twin.

          ~Flashback ~

It was a partially sunny day and the twins were in Georgia at their father's friend estate waiting for him to return from a business trip. Marie being the adventurous spirit she was wanted to go out on the quads that the friend had offered the girls to use while they were there

Mary being the delicate subject that she is was hesitant about going through the forest without an escort. But allowing Marie to talk her into anything followed her sister out to the barn to get the toys they were looking for.

An hour after they had been playing around in the forest, a storm, coming from the depths of hell had erupted from the light clouds from early as they had turned to a dark almost black color. The thunder was deafening and the lighting blinding and coming closer to the girls as they tried to race for refuge.

But they wouldn't make it back. Not together. Not to be whole again.

Lighting struck a tree close to just a ahead of the twins causing them both to speed up in hopes of avoiding a detour instead of falling in front or behind them it fell on one of them. The crack of the tree made Marie turn to see if her sister was okay but she was no where in sight. So she raced back to the tree to see if Mary got caught behind but what she found scarred her. There her sister last under the tree completely crushed ~
Tamaki's face was serious. To serious for Marie to be comfortable. Joshua on the other hand was shaking. In rage, grief, shock he couldn't figure it out.
"Why didn't anyone tell us" Tamaki said suddenly.
"Father said he'd take care of it. Seeing as I wasn't talking to be honest I couldn't I was in too much shock but when I found out he didn't I came as quickly as I could"
"I'm just glad your alright" both Joshua and Tamaki said in unison and Marie couldn't help but smile a bit she hugged Tamaki and then dug her face into her big brother's chest.
"Ummm Josh?" Marie asked with too sweet of a smile to mean anything good "can I stay with you at the family house? I've been staying at the hotel."
"Of course you can why did you ask when you knew you just could?" Her brother was weary of what the next thing to come out of his sister's mouth,
"I needhelp moving my stuff to the estate and unpacking"
And with that Tamaki burst back into the host club room and announced that his princess needed saving
