"Alright, how does one even do this?" Kay sat there on their couch, chuckling lightly. "You were the one who proposed, so you should have some clue about this" She smiled, laughing as Liam shook his head shyly.
"I never was invited to a wedding in my living time, and I am much less invited now, so I am not exactly sure on either how the ceremony works as a whole, nor what to do before it" Liam looked at her as he sat down next to her.
"However, I do know some customs that ranged around here in the 1500's though I am a little uncertain on whether or not I remember them correctly, nor if they are useful to today's customs" He spoke, smiling shyly.
"I remember handfasting was a thing in Medowina, however, whether or not I remember exactly what cords were used in the ceremony or what the high priest or high priestess said to the two being handfastened, is not exactly clear" He chuckled wamly.
"And if I did remember, I would have known, which would have been much more convenient for us at this moment" He smiled, shyer. "However, I wonder if we would even want to do the customs of the 1500's or if we should stick to the modern ways of weddings"
Kay gently laid her arm on the guy's shoulder, smiling.
"What if I do the research, and then I tell you what to do so we can plan it together?" She asked, looking into his eyes.
"That way, you won't need to stress your head on technology, or trying to remember all that by yourself" She chuckled warmly, as she knew the age-old being wasn't used to the customs of the modern world.
He returned the warm gaze, looking at her.
The guy hummed gently, smiling softly before he closed his eyes on her, stealing a soft kiss from her lips.
"Thank you Kay, I really do appreciate it"
Her blush was warm as a fire, burning it's way across her cheeks as she looked at him, smiling shyer.
"No problem" She stuttered lightly, though it was barely there to be heard.
-----
"What on Earth!?" Kay exclaimed as she sat by her laptop, putting it down on the table in front of her to avoid it taking damage as she rose from her seated position.
She stood up, and out of sheer habit, she stomped her foot once onto the ground.
Liam was in the room shortly after, both curious and worried at the same time.
"What is it, my dear?" He asked, looking at her as nothing around and on her seemed damaged to him.
"You seem troubled" He spoke, and as he did, Kay peaked up at him.
"Oh Liam, I can't seem to find what I'm looking for" She hissed lightly, though played along with Liam's ancient tune. It was the same tune as she hoped someone like her would have for approximately 500 years ago. The tune of a helpless lady.
Liam however, looked at her with a soft grin as she spoke, seeming to recognise her playing.
"What may it be related to?" He asked softly, walking up to her as he wanted to know what troubled her.
"And how can I help find what you cannot find as of now?"
"I can't find my heart, I gave it to you when you proposed" Kay smiled slyly, looking at him.
With a worried gaze however, Liam immediately placed his hand into her chest, slightly to the left, and kept it there. He gently looked up at her as he felt the pulsating from what was inside there. The heart was still very much present.
