Prom

"May I ask what are yo doing on my door step?"

"I'm so sorry, I just ran until I finally broke down."

"I know we just met but wanna talk about what happened, I've been told I'm a good listener."

I moved and sat down next to, who I realized was the famous Sarah Walker.

"Why would you listen to a girl you just met?"

"I'm a caring guy and you happen to be on my doorstep at two in the morning crying, so do you wanna come inside and talk or sit out here and talk?"

"Can we go and sit in the living room?"

"Yes we can."

I got off the step and unlocked the door, then I guided her to the living room and we both sat down on the couch.

"Aren't you Sarah Walker?"

"Of course, you're just being nice because of my reputation."

"Not really why I'm being nice, just saw a few photos of you in the past."

"Well you know who I am, who are you?"

"I'm Zayden Myles I go to Northwoods."

"Oh nice but I'll finally tell you what happened, my boyfriend bought me a dress and asked me to prom by making this sign that said 'will you shop till the last dress is sold at prom with me?' I said yes but I found out the entire two years we've been together he's cheated on me and just wanted my virginity."

"Please tell me your going to break up with him."

"I was going to it in person tomorrow, but I want to get back at him, I just don't know how."

Jason Michaels, how I hated him we used to be friends as kids. How I would do anything to make him mad.

"How about you go to prom with me and we make him see what he lost."

" I don't know we just met."

"Sarah Walker will you go to two proms with me?"

"Fine, bur you want me to go to your prom also?"

"Yeah."

"Ok."

"Shouldn't you be getting home?"

"Actually I was living with Jason and my parents won't take me back."

"You can stay here f you want, I live by myself."

I led Sarah to the guest bedroom and told her where some of my sisters old clothes were that she could use to sleep in, then I left the room and went to my room. The next day when I got up Sarah was in the kitchen cooking breakfast. We both ate and I gave her a ride to her school.

"Do you wanna come with me when I break up with Jason?"

"Sure."

We both got out of the car and went to the find Jason at his locker, Sarah walked up to him.

"I'm breaking up with you."

Then she turned around to find me on my knee and I was holding a sign that said will you go to prom with me.

"yes, I will."
