" Hey, mom. So, I came to visit like you asked. Got you a new tea set, blue with white motifs like the last one I broke. Sorry about that, by the way. I'll be graduating from Beacon soon, so wish me luck. Ironwood gave me a new arm, he also said I could ask for repairs anytime I need it but just not too often." Yang took a sip of her tea before continuing. " It feels lighter and way better than the last one, I can even use dust on it. Although it did take us a while to find the right material to get it in tune with my...powers." Her smile faltered even though she tried to keep it up. Grief took over and her head lowered as she stared into the words engraved on her mother's tombstone. "I...Your tribe is really difficult to handle without you. Man, they're so whiny. I don't know how you do it mom, but they give me a headache." She tried to smile again but the silence started to sting. " I don't know how Ruby does this either....I guess, I wanna say that I'm sorry. I'm sorry I never got to really know you better, I kinda hope you feel the same." The thought of her powers, proof that she was the last person to be on her mind, made her smile just a little. " I, uh, thanks, for everything." She rose and kissed the smooth stone. " I love you, mom." She said quietly as she left. Blake stood quietly, waiting for her to finish. A smile on the blonde's face indicated that she was alright, the faunus returned it and they went back to Bumblebee, hand in hand.

Mercury was silent, mostly grumbling to himself as they watched him from the hidden window. He wasn't talking to anyone and spent most of his time spitting and shouting. It was a rather pathetic sight, to say the least. The interrogation was going nowhere and neither side are getting closer to what they wanna hear. Ozpin watched from Oscar's eyes, observing the young self-proclaimed killer with slight reluctance. This was getting exhausting but he waited patiently for the huntsman to take over. Despite his own reluctance and annoyance, Qrow walked into the room and sat himself down onto the chair across the table.

" You smell like my old man." Mercury's face retorted in disgust and there was a flash of hate in his eyes.

" That's one hell of a greeting." Qrow remarked, what's with this kid and alcohol? And of all things he could've said, mentions of alcohol surfaced first. Qrow wondered for a moment on how long would it take for the smell to rub off, he only went sober a couple days ago but he missed his flask already. Which had been confiscated by his own nieces. " So, you gonna talk or what? This whole thing is getting tiring for everybody so just spill and we might be able to appeal for a light sentence for you."

" Do I look like I care? I don't know anything. Go ahead and hang me for all I care! I was made to be a killer anyway."

" You are the saddest sack of shit I've ever seen." Qrow shot him down with a single sentence and he sat there, his mouth agape. " Look kid, you're not making it easier any way. So here's my question, What do you know about Salem? I'm asking not because you know, but it's what you don't know. So tell me, just how much are you in this." He added quickly before Mercury could speak. " In exchange, we'll tell you what you really need to know. If you're asking why, it was recommended by the Sparrow. She can see right through you. So, will you cooperate a bit?"

" How's it doing?" Ironwood asked.

" They're talking. Zea is handling Emerald Sustrai, could you check if there's any progress?" Ozpin said, dismissing him even when he had just entered the room. Despite being dismissed so suddenly, Ironwood obeyed and went to the other interrogation room with little reluctance. " By the gods, Salem. Where are you?" He muttered to himself as the general shut the door.

" Where's Cinder?" She asked once again at the silent fox, whom have spent most of her time drinking her tea. " If you don't tell me, I'll-"

" You'll what?" She asked calmly, placing her cup down. Emerald didn't answer, she gave the faunus a nasty glare followed by low grumbles. " She is no longer Fall Maiden. They extracted her powers just two days ago." Emerald looked at her with wide eyes, her mouth open but no words came. A small smile escaped the faunus' lips, Veena was right, watching their reactions were indeed amusing. It baffled the green haired girl as the woman seem to grow shorter and shorter, before disappearing from her seat as though she had melted through the floor.

" H-Hey, get back here!" Emerald called. Ironwood was just as surprised when said fox rose through the floor next to him.

" This is interesting, isn't it? That girl truly loves her. It's almost touching, a lovely story that would've won me over if not for Natrah's story. Ever heard of it?"

" ..No."

" She got divorced and ended up finding her ex hung by her enemies. Terrible." She said shaking her head. " She vowed not to fall in love since then. I hope she gets over it."
