My name is Mia Gray, mainly known as my stage name, Greyhound. I'm a pop singer from London. Well, a hopes-to-be pop singer. Ever since a kid, I've wanted to be a singer. Taught myself piano at five, guitar at eight, drums and bass at 13. I also managed to get a contract with a music company for tour. I'll be playing in somewhat large cities besides my hometown. I also heard from the manager is there's someone else on this tour, a guy my age. Anyways, enough with the introduction, let me tell you where I am. I'm currently at my home like studio. I'm currently working on a new song, Castles and Switchblades. It goes a little like this.
High ranking kings and queens
All want my head it seems
Princess at the top tower
Doesn't have any powerHogwarts is just a dream
blood dripping at the scene
switchblades are dropping
there's no chance of stoppinglife's crumbling down
there's nothing I can do now
I'm the princess at the top tower
the one that doesn't have any powerswitchblades are all I have
I'm not whole, I'm just half
blood dripping down my skin
thinking that I have sinnedwhat do you think I can do now
I'm just falling down
now you know me as the princess who fell from the top tower
that never had any powerIt's a dark story to the song, but there should be more songs like mine out there. To put that mental illnesses aren't a joke, their something that mean something to me. Well I should really get packing, considering I have a tour to get ready for in a few hours.
Packed, and well dressed, I head over to the venue that we'll be playing our first show. What I mean by "we'll", I Mean me and the other kid I'll be on tour with. So far I have the setlist for the songs I'll be performing.
Emotional thunderstorm
Visions (Ghosts)
Waistline
Timeline (Flashbacks)
WorriedEach song has a meaning behind it, like I said, my songs are throwing mental illnesses out there and that they're not a joke. Emotional thunderstorm is for the people out there who have bipolar disorder. Visions (Ghosts) is for the people who are insomniatic. Waistline is for the people who have eating disorders, such as bulimia. Timeline (Flashbacks) is for the people who have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or PTSD. Finally, worried is for those who have anxiety.
As I enter the venue, an hour earlier than when the show started, backstage, I hear a guy's British accent familiar to mine. I can faintly hear his voice, "No! I wanna know the name of the other person who's on this fucking tour with me!" He sounds outraged, guess I shouldn't catch him on a bad day. Nevertheless, I head over to to my dressing room to get ready.
Apparently, I was the first one to perform. "Hey London how you doing mates?!" I shouted somewhat into the mic. I surprisingly attracted quite a crowd. That crowd cheered happily in response to my question. "You all know who I am so let's start this off with a song I call Emotional thunderstorm!" Everyone was bouncing around jumpin, having a great time.
As I finished my setlist, I found out that the person who is also on this tour with me went by the name Yungblud. He's a good singer for a guy who's a year fresh out of secondary school. His songs have a catchy beat, like, King Charles was it? It had a very fresh beat.
Turns out we were travelling on a tour bus. There was more places we'd travel than expected. Locations such as Berlin, Franfurt, Paris, and Venice were among the few. The tour bus was as normal as a house on wheels; the needed ameneties and whatnots.
Our manager wanted us to have some "quality bonding time" with each other, since we'll be here for a while. "So, Greyhound and Yungblud, have you known each other before?" He asked us. "Nope, not at all man." We said together in unison. Since we lived In the same area, our voices sounded like one man talking at once.
I was kinda shocked to say the least, since my tour mate hasn't heard of me. He must live locally somewhere in England so he should've known be by now. But he's probably wondering the same about me, how I haven't heard of him.
Later that day, our manager wanted us to take a test; which I really enjoyed. I excelled in any test of any subject; this one would surely fly. It was a test about if we knew our tour mate, since we had a long talk about each other.
Name: Dominic Harrison
stage name: Yungblud
age: 19
genre: rock, hip-hop
residence: Doncaster, England
It was a simple, fill in the blanks type-quiz. It really wasn't hard for me, easier than puttin your fingers up at the police. The manager was impressed at each others scores, cause it didn't look like either of us were paying attention. "You guys both passed, I'm impressed." I arched a brow at our manager, "Impressed? What the hell is that supposed to mean?" We asked him. He held his hands up in defense, "Don't take this so seriously, I wus just jokin."
The night ended with a lot of jokes and arguements, but I managed to get the top bunk to the left with no bruises. I was about to fall asleep but our manager walked in, "Just wanted to say, you have lots of work up 'head." I groaned, covering my ears with my pillow, trying to fall back asleep. But of course, I had no luck, so I closed the curtain and stared at the wall. Then so bored, I took out my phone, 6 notifications

I guess I should call it a night. I mean, I did all that jumpin around and yellin for my fans. I should get a good nights rests. I'll have a lot to do tomorrow, but already have a lot of things on my mind. Where will we be next? Who's going to be there? What's my setlist? Are the people nice?
