Chapter 1

Avias POV

I was shaken awake by mom telling me that I had to get up. "Avia, you have a doctors appointment . Get up!" She said . Dad came in and picked me up and threw me in the air. I laughed and shooed them out of the room so me and Emmi could get dressed. I picked out a pretty shirt with flowers on it and some jeans . Emmi put on her favorite skirt and we headed out the door . On my way out , I looked out the window . The sky was dark gray and I could see clouds forming.

Chapter 2

Avias POV

Mom made us breakfast and we all sat at the table "Mom , why do I have to get shots ?" I complained . "It doesn't even hurt . Stop being a baby !" Gavin said making fun of me. Mom gave him the look and he stopped . After eating breakfast , we piled into the car and buckled our seat belts . "Colette , be careful because it looks like there might be a thunderstorm." Dad said through the window of the car before we drove off. Little did I know , it wouldn't be just a thunderstorm.

Chapter 3

Avias POV

We drove off and the whole time Brock was screaming because he was hungry . Our car rides were usually like this but today the screaming seemed worse. Most of the time I just block out the arguing and yelling because I'm used to it, but today I couldn't . The sky got darker and darker, soon it started to drizzle. All of a sudden it started pouring . It was coming down so hard I thought the clouds would explode . "Mom!" Emmi screamed. "Honey it's ok! It's just rain!" Mom said trying to calm everyone down. "Uh what's that?!?" Gavin screamed.
