Chapter 12 - Rescue

??? POV

"Thank god we saved this girl!" My younger sister says. "Yeah, this cute girl almost drowned." My older brother says. "Are you in love with her?" I ask him. "Henry, of course not!" He says.

"What do you think she was doing in this deep water?" My sister asks. "I don't know, Suzy." I say. "Fred, what do you think?" Suzy asks. "She must have just been going for a swim." Fred says. Suzy glares at him.

"She was drowning. I don't think she would do that on purpose without a reason." She says. "What if she does have a reason?" Fred asks. "Will you two stop bickering?" I say to them. They both cross their arms and glare at me. "I'm being serious this time. I'm not pranking y'all. Now we need to get this girl to a hospital." I say.

"Why can't Fred just do CPR on her? He seems to want to date her." Suzy snickers. "Suzy! I swear to you, I was just joking about the cute thing." Fred says, blushing. "No you weren't." "Yes I was!" "STOP FIGHTING AND LET'S DO SOMETHING ALREADY!" I scream at them. They both shut their mouths and look at me. "Okay, if we can't get to a hospital or get help in time, Fred can do CPR on this girl." I say. "WHAT?" He yells, surprised. "Why can't you do it, Henry?" "Your the oldest, so you get to do it." I say, smiling.

"Henry, WE are the ocean help, remember? We are the sea's doctors!" Suzy exclaims. "I know that, but it's not like we can do surgery or any of that stuff." I say. "She doesn't need surgery." Fred says. "I was making a point! Now, get to doing that CPR, Fred!" I say. He sighs as he bends down to do the CPR.

"Ew! Gross!" Suzy exclaims as Fred's lips touch the girl's. The girl wakes up with a gasp. She starts to cough and then realizes that Fred is over her. "GET AWAY FROM ME!" She screams. "Girl, chill. I just saved your life!" Fred winks at her. I glance at Suzy and she doesn't look too happy about what Fred just said. "We just saved her life, not just you, Fred!" Suzy exclaims. "Well I was the one who did CPR on her!" Fred says.

Suzy's POV

Fred is always like this. Always winking at the girls and stuff.

"Everyone! Please tell me where I am and who you are." The girl says. "You tell us who you are first." I say, sassily. "Fine. I'm Rainbow, and I was-" "Going for a swim?" Interrupts Fred. "No. I was-" "Trying to find handsome guys like me?" "NO!" Rainbow yells, backing away from him. "FRED! Anyways, I'm Suzy, that's Henry, and that's Fred." I point to my two brothers. Henry just waves to Rainbow, but Fred shows off his arm muscles. "And we're in the middle of the ocean!" Henry exclaims, throwing his hands up. A wind comes through, making his short hair fly up a bit. I can see Rainbow slightly blushing out of the corner of my eye.

Lunar's POV

"I have searched the whole room and through my bag at least seven times!" I exclaim. "Forget about your crystal ball, Rainbow is missing!" Gold says. "I know that! But we could track her with my crystal ball." "Excuse me girls, but I might have seen this girl leave." Gold and I exchange looks and then look up at the lady who said that.

"What do you know?" I ask her. "I work here, at the front desk. I saw a pink haired lady leave at four in the morning." "Four?" "Yes, four." She stares into my eyes for a moment and then looks away.

"I know who she was finding." The front desk lady stares out the window, into the busy street outside. "Who?" Gold asks.

"Her parents."

I share a glance with Gold and then say "How do you know this?" "Because that's what my children would have done. My name's Melissa by the way. A long time ago I got stranded on an island with my husband and two children."

Melissa's POV

"5 Years Ago

"Darling, we have to swim. We have to jump and swim." My husband says. "What about the children?" I ask. "We will take them with us." He says. I grab my two children's hands, and on my husband's signal, jump. Cold water rushes over my body, and into my mouth. As I choke, I hold onto my children even tighter. We go up to the surface, and I can see the icy fear in my lover's eyes.

2 Weeks Later

We had made a home in the forest, a little tiny shack. We didn't know how long we were going to be here for, so we better make the most of it. We scavenged our family photos from our backpacks that we kept, and framed them with forest materials. A little ways from our tiny camp, we made a tree house and another camp there, for backup.

But one day, my husband found a plane. He fixed it up, but because he didn't do a good job at that, it could only carry one person. He got on it, loaded his luggage on it, but kept the pictures at the shack.

"Melissa, you know I love you, but I can't have you come with me." "I know, James. I love you so very much. I hope we can see each other again."

Then he took off as quick as a cheetah. My son, three years older than my daughter, ran off into the woods. I never saw him again. My daughter and I lived happily in the woods, until James came back. But he didn't come back alone.

Another plane was with him. The plane of a person called Master. James crashed his plane as he landed, but Master didn't. Master was a huge friend of James. He got his nickname of Master, because he controlled everyone he met. I gave him that nickname. But his real name is Matt.

I stole Matt's plane and flew off in it. I later got news that Master had kidnapped my daughter, and turned to the evil side, wanting vengeance for his brother. He sunk a boat with his brother and their five children on it. The children survived but their parents didn't. The whole boat sinking was recorded on video and put on the news. The police are still looking for Matt, and it's heard that the five children are still living, to this day."
