Missin' The Mission

Yesterday the bionics missed school because of a mission. So it was only me and Leo kind of like the old times. It was sort of nice. But today the bionics are back at school. I was at my locker when I heard Adams laughter. I turn around and see Adam, Bree, Leo and Chase. I go over to them and kiss Chase on the cheek. "Miss me?". He asked, I chuckled. "Yeah a little bit". I said. A bull horn cut me off from my thoughts. "Not so fast". Principal Perry said. She came down the stairs. "You three missed school yesterday. Not that I didn't enjoy it! But it's been happening way too much lately. Look at this attendance report". She said shoving a paper document towards us.

"You still keep paper records?". Chase asked. "You know we have computers now? Also indoor plumbing and fire". Perry glared at Chase. "Do you really want to poke the bear?". She asked. "Do you really want to use that analogy?". Leo replied. "Shut it Dooley! I've been working out, don't make me flex my guns". She said hunching her shoulders."You three are in big trouble". She said pointing to Adam, Bree and Chase. "Oh! Actually we're not! We have a note from our dad. He signed it and everything". Bree said handing Perry a piece of paper. "With his name". Adam added. "Oh well I'm sorry my bad. That changes absolutely..........nothing!". Perry said then ripped the note apart."Just because your dad lets you cut school doesn't mean I have to. Somebody had to be the disciplinarian. It's like I tell my cats". She made a horrible hissing mouse and used her chubby hands as claws. "See you three in detention". Perry said and then walked to her office. 

"Great we miss school for a mission and get punished". Chase said. Adam sighed. "This isn't fair". I chuckled. "No it really isn't". Leo said. "Well you guys have fun". He walked away. "How bad can detention be?". Bree asked. "I'll just leave your imaginations to run wild on this one". I said. "Haven't you had a detention before?". Adam asked. "Actually no I haven't. I know things about Perry! That's all I need to keep me out of there". I said."So you can't tell us what to expect?". Chase asked. "I'm sorry Chase. Even if I was to get a detention by one of my teachers Perry would pardon it. I'm not going to be any help". I said. "That's okay it's not like your a bad girl". Adam said laughing. I glare at him. "Not a bad girl huh?". I questioned. Have I really lost my bad girl reputation. "I've only seen you as a nice girl". Adam said. I kiss Chase on the cheek. "Where are you going?". Chase asked. "To fix my reputation". I said.

I stay behind after school to put my plan into action. This ones going to put me into trouble with a capital T. Suddenly I spot Leo coming in the schools front doors. "What are you doing here?". I asked my best friend. "Big D sent me down here to get Adam, Bree and Chase out of detention. He gave me a note to give to Perry". He said. "Well good luck with that". I said. "What are you doing here?". He asked. "Fixing my reputation". I said. "You're going to prank Perry aren't you?". He asked."The whole detention room actually". I said. "Good luck with that". Leo said as I followed him over to the gym doors. Two lunch ladies spotted us and hauled us through the doors. They drop us. I stand up and fix my shirt. "Ohh goodie what do you two want?". Perry asked. "Me ohh nothing him, lets continue". I said pointing at Leo.

"There's an emergency. My step dad asked me to give you this". Leo handed Perry the note. "Mmm yum! Second lunch!". Perry said then ate the note. Leo hide his face in my neck. "What are you doing? This is serious. It's a matter of life and death!". Leo exclaimed. "You said the same thing when the vending machine ran out of cheese curls". Perry said. "This is different! Please! You gotta let them go!". Leo begged. "No". Perry mocked. "Although there might be a way they can earn their freedom". Perry chuckled. 

The next thing we know Perry has them spinning around in circles while their foreheads are connected to their bats. Perry started counting. "34, 35". Everyone started chanting. I watch as the bionics spin around. "And forty!". Adam, Bree and Chase stop. "Okay whoever makes it out the open doors is free to leave. Go!". Perry yelled. "Come on guys". Leo shouted. "You guys can do it". I watch as Adam and Bree fall down.All that was left was Chase he was so close to the door. "Come on Chase, follow the sound of my voice". I tell my boyfriend. "Come on! Freedom is so close! Can't you just taste it?". Perry yelled. "I'm almost there!". Chase said. "I'm going to make it". And then he bangs his head on the door and falls down. I go over to him. "Chase you okay?". I asked. "Yeah I'm good". He said. I sighed with relief. "Why are there three of you?". He asked. "You might have a slight concussion". I said. "Great!". He exclaimed then held his head.

"Prepare to be entertained amoeba brains. Time for my next challenge". Perry said. "Their gonna be here a while aren't they?". Leo asked. I ignored Perry and looked down at Chase, nursing his head. Leo ended up leaving as I stayed behind outside until they were done. Which took like 2 more hours. They finally come through the doors. "2 hours I waited". I said growling. "Whoa calm down feisty". Bree said. I start to lunge at her, Adam picks me up and tosses me over his shoulder. "How's the view?".  Adam asked, I chuckled. "A little too rounded". I said. "Guys we have a mission!". Chase exclaimed. Bree super speeds me home. I go straight up to my room and call Leo. "Mission specialist Leo the bionic saviour speaking". I chuckled.

C: Hey Leo

 L: Hey Cass what's up?

C: how's the mission going?

L: Ohh it's all over. I went with Big D and stopped the gas leak

C: Ha that's funny Leo

L: I'm not joking

C: seriously?

L:Seriously

C: Wow go you Leo 

L: Yeah Adam got me blamed for them three getting detention now I have detention for like a month

C: ohh I'm sorry Leo

L: It's fine

C: I could always get you out of detention

L: No its fine. I'm protecting their secret by doing this

C: I'm proud of you Leo

L: Thanks Cassie. I should go Chase is cooking

C: I'll be right over

L: See you in two

I rush next door and take a seat at the table next to Mr Davenport. "Tim's not home?". Mr D asked referring to my dad. "Same as everynight". I said. "Well you are always welcome here". Tasha said. "Thanks Tasha". I sit there eating Chase's cooking and thinking about Marcus. I know him from somewhere and I am determined to find out where.
