I wanted to write something
about people, trees or everything
but one thing makes me worry
i don't know either it's a poem, a song or a story.
It's about a woman
who falls inlove to a man
yet this love is not ordinary
because she's a mairmaid and he's a fairy.
Everyday she watches him
as he passes by,
waiting for him to say
hello or hi.
She waits for him in vain
holding all her tears and pain.
One day, she asked herself
Am i doing the right thing?
Then a witch said wake up!
And gave her a magic cup!
In this cup you can make a wish
But be sure you wont break your promise
You will hurt no one
Especially even the tiniest living thing under the sun.
Then she wishes that the fairy will love her one day
And that they will be both happy
Before the wish comes true
The witch stop her through!
Wait! the witch said
youre in the sea and he's in the sky
could you fly without wings?
could he swim without fins?
She cried then she smiled
She give up the cup and decide
Love can't change what's not meant to be
And no magic can change that sad reality.
Well, people what can you say?
