Chapter 1
I stuff myself with more potato chips as I stare at the screen and laugh along with myself while watching a re run of FRIENDS. Again. I gave up keeping a track of time after the clock struck 1 and honestly, at this point I can't even blink. My eyes are burning like they're on fucking fire. So I contemplate with myself for the next few minutes and decide to switch off the T. V and sleep. I mean it's not like I have school tomorrow or anything.
I drag myself upstairs and walk past my parents' bedroom, the light was out so they're probably asleep.
I walk into my bedroom and flick the switch on, and when the room is suddenly bathed in pure bright shiny LIGHT I immediately regret my decision I switch it off and draw the curtains open. The moonlight shall be my guide tonight. I'm a survivor with a determined heart and a steady soul. I'm a strong, independent woman. I can do this.
"SHIT!", I hiss as I stub my pinky toe on a hard wooden..something , I swear to god I'll be going to walk the streets minus a pinky toe on both my feet one of these days.
Glaring at the innocent victim of my clumsiness and look around the room. Faintly; I could make out my open books on my table. I was supposed to be finished with my damned homework by now.
I stood there, in the middle of my room for like 25 years. Thinking.
I should probably get it done...
I mean it was such a long hard day of binge watching FRIENDS and I was oh so very exhausted! Well. To the bed it is!
I feel my way through the room and find the soft plushy mattress of my beloved bed.
"Come to momma", grinning I launch myself on the fucking floor. I swear. To GOD!! HOW DID I FALL TO THE FLOOR!! THE BED IS RIGHT THERE!!
Grumbling and grunting to myself I hold onto my inflamed bum and SLOWLY lower myself on the mattress.
