I was now dressed in Isaac's college hoodie and his basketball short which I really despise because it was absolutely unfashionable and this was by far hands down the only moment I was ever  self-conscious with my look. Nonetheless I need to change to a fresh set of clothes since my dress last night was reeked with alcohol and I for sure knew that it was exactly inappropriate to join a family breakfast smelled like a stinky tofu.

Breakfast with the Donovans was never in my plan. I rejected the idea as soon as it came out from Maria's mouth but she was very persistent and persuasive that I eventually gave in to her offer. It was only a breakfast with the family she said.

Isaac was heading out to buy new clothes for me. He already dressed in a dark brown t-shirt paired with khaki pant. "Are you sure you can handle breakfast with my family alone? You can stay here until I come back if you want." He asked one last time before he was going out. As persistent as his mother was, he kept asking the same question over and over again.

It's only a breakfast. Nothing to be worried about right? Except the fact that they were all bunch of strangers.

I gave him a smile as reassurance. "It's only a breakfast. I'm sure it's nothing I can't handle." I push him towards the door. "Just go quickly and buy me some decent clothes so I can quickly get away from here." I said casually without hiding my true intention.

I couldn't wait to get out of here. Although I didn't know yet where to go after this since I was literally homeless now  but I think I'll just crashed at Calum's place for few days before I find a place to stay.

Speaking about Calum, I called him few times before but I just ended up in his mailbox. Never mind, I'll just go unannounced then since I was also sure his parents would not be home for few weeks now.

"Fine. Geez woman can you at least pretend you're not really in a rush to get out of this house." He muttered one last time before disappear behind the door for real this time.

We talked a lot while I tried to get over my hangover which I still don't and we got to know each other better and we become more comfortable with each other presence more now. Although my heart still skip a beat every time he looked at me in the eyes and offered me his award winning smile, at least we upgraded our status from strangers to acquaintances.

I then looked in the mirror one last time to make sure I look at least presentable as much as I could with this hideous look. Besides, I'm sure this will be the one and only time we will meet and eat breakfast together.

I gingerly walked out of Isaac's room to head out to the dining room. I looked around and see that this house was radiated with a strong family vibe. The walls were decorated with family portraits and somehow it just look alive which was very different to my house. The house I figured was not too big but just big enough for the family in which they would have enough room for everyone and maybe had one or two extra rooms for the guests like any other normal people house would be. Unlike mine, the only room occupied was mine and the maid as for the rest, it was left empty and unoccupied.

Donovan...the name sounds familiar but I could not really figure where did I hear this name. I just shake my thought away as Donovan was a very common last name.

I entered the dining room only to be flabbergasted as I caught the sight of the Donovan family members. There are four of them in which I only recognise two of them; Maria and Aiden Donovan, The older guy I guessed must be the father, Blake Donovan and the younger one must be Isaac's younger brother, Ian Donovan based on piece of information provided by Isaac just now.

They were dressed in a very formal attire just for family breakfast like Maria said. They were all dressed up good that made me felt like a rotten potato to be among them with my plausible attire.
