BALIEE POV.
I heard my phone alarm go off. Ughh, first day of school. I grabbed my phone and looked at my lock screen photo. A picture of my bestfriend, Maddie and I at the beach. I miss her a ton. She was one of the only best friend I had back in Cali. I decided I would text her since I had a little bit more time.

I clicked send and almost imminently I got a text back.

OH MY GOD. I MISS YOU TOO. I WISH YOU WERE BACK HERE!! #loner
That made my heart drop, cause I miss her so much.
I texted her back and we talked for about 10 minutes, until I thought I should get ready. I picked out my outfit: dark washed skinny jeans, red vans, and a grey muscle tee that says "2Fab4u" on it. I hopped into the shower and jammed out to Arianna Grande, until I felt clean and ready. I changed and blow dried my hair, it was already straight so I just left it natural. I grabbed my phone and walked downstairs to see my older brother and my Mom, "Hi, honey!" my Mom said, I smiled and waved, and walked to the kitchen to get an apple, "Do you want me to take you to school today?" Cameron asked. I nodded, grabbed my backpack and hurried out of the door, and into his car. "How do you feel about a new school?" Cam asked. He's the only one who knows about my cutting, when he caught me in the bathroom floor almosted passed out from blood loss. He said he wouldn't tell anyone, if I promised not to do it anything. And I haven't. "Umm, I hope it'll go good." I said, and by that time we were already there. Well, here goes nothing. I said under my breath, smiled at Cam and got of the car and walked towards the school. Right when I opened the door it smelled like High School, window cleaner and paint. I went to the office and got my classes, when I ran into a girl with light brown hair, with dark pink tips, "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!!" She said helping me pick up my papers. "Its fine." I said smiling. "Oh, you're new?" She said looking at my Welcome Packet. I nodded. "I'm Baliee" I said putting my hand out to her. "I'm Kaci" she said shaking my hand. She looked at my class scedcual and it turns out we have all classes together except Science. I have a feeling this year might be different...
