Love at first sight

Chapter 1

Ariana's POV:

What you wanna know about California? It's hot as hell! The traffic is horrible and the people are stuck up here. That's what I heard but I don't know if it's true or not. Well let me introduce myself.

My name is Ariana Gomez and I'm 18 years old. I have brown eyes and black hair. I'm about 5'2 and I love to sing.

"We're almost at our new house sweetie" my mom said to me from the front seat.

I recently moved here from North Carolina. I left behind my best friends Kimberly and Skye. I miss them so much.

We are finally at the new house. Holy shit it's huge. It has a drive that leads to the door. It's gated, it has a pool and a tennis court! This house is huge. it's nothing like the house at home but look at it!

"Go pick out a room honey. We'll have dinner in a couple hours" my mom said

"Ok mom" I said back

I found the perfect room. it has a walk in closet, a bathroom and a balcony. Ok this is way better that our house at home.

- 3 hours later -

We finally finished unpacking. I'm so tired.

"Dinners ready" my mom yelled from downstairs

"Mmm smells good. what are we having"

"We are having chicken Alfredo with a salad"

"Yes my favorite! where is dad?"

"He called in on the night shift for his job"

See we moved here because my dad got transferred. great isn't it?

"Oh cool"

" You know you start school tomorrow?"

"No. why didn't you tell me this a long time ago?" I asked

"Because I had to call the school when we got here" she said back

"Oh I didn't know"

"And you will probably be home alone when you get back home in the evening so I'll leave you some money. I'll be going to job interviews In the morning so you be safe alright?"

"Ok" I said

"Well I have to get ready for bed. you wash your dish when your done" she said while walking upstairs

I finished my dinner and washed my plate. I walked up stair and went to take a shower. I turned on the water and let the water get warm. I stepped in and let the water run down my body.

I washed my body and washed my hair and got out the shower. I dried off and put on some comfy clothes and later in bed.

Tomorrow better be a good day.
