The Start of the Whole Problem

- Hermione's POV

"Ronald Weasley! How- how- dare you!" I yelled and I ran out of the door and slammed it as hard as I could. Pieces of stripped wood fell off from the door frame. I ran to the first place I could think of: the Leaky Cauldron. I ordered 3 shots of firewhiskey and gulped it all down in a few swallows. My throat was burning but I didn't care. My brain was on fire but I didn't care much either. My heart was shattered into a million pieces and I cared.

"'Mione?" A familiar voice called me. Harry? I turned around. "I never knew you could drink that much, huh." I grunted in reply. The door opened behind us and there, stood...

"Ron?" Harry said. "Oh how nice it is to-" He didn't get to finish his sentence. I pointed a quivering finger at Ron and hissed, "You-you dare come here?"

- Harry's POV

I had decided to come to the Leaky Cauldron and get some butterbeer to forget about Ginny. She had cheated on me. She said I was cowardly. She, who beat against my heart until it shattered into a million pieces. I was nobody. Nobody. Just a pathetic, cowardly man. How funny. I was the boy who saved her from the Chamber of Secrets, from Tom Riddle, Moldy Voldy's teenage version. How dare she, how dare she say that after I saved her from dying?

White hot anger licked my insides, the red headed git...

From somewhere behind me, Hermione was cursing. Wait what? Hermione? I turned around and said "'Mione!" Then Ron came in and Hermione's cheeks were turning red and she shouted words I couldn't hear at Ron. What in the name of magic are they rambling about! Everybody turned to stare at both of them. Can't you keep your voices down?! You are positively embarrassing yourself a lot!

Then Ron dashes out with Hermione hot on his heels.
