***This is just a message for the people who already read the story and waited for this chapter to come out***
I just wanted to let you guys know that I added a whole other part to the last chapter so I suggest going back to read it so that way you don't get confused. Anyways, ENJOY!!!:3Alex and I have been at it all day yesterday. I'm deeply exhausted after those combat lessons but it was worth it. I feel myself getting stronger each day here, and these people are helping me get accustomed.
It won't be long before I could leave this place and find the bastard who took my family from me.
But what if that bastard was Damian's father?
Doesn't matter, I'll kill him anways then I'lll just apologize to Damian.
On a much brighter note I'm currently helping Ruby fix her room. After a couple scowlds from Damian she finally gave in. I on the other hand, bored and lonely, took the opportunity to get to know her by helping.
...well if you count sitting around as I toss objects into place using my eyes.
"You know, you dont have to do this," Ruby whined as she carried a bin of barbie dolls to her closet.
"I know, I just want to," I reassured.
A couple minutes went by and I didn't know what to say. Besides the fact that she's here, we have nothing else in common. Which really sucks. Not to mention the age difference which limits what I could say to her.
A few more minutes went by as I decided to be physivslly productive and clean. As I was dusting off her shelves I stumbled upon a family photo.
The photo seemed to be capturing some celebration because there were balloons and streamers everywhere. She was in the middle of her mother and father as they lifted her up on a counter to blow out a cake. I'm guessing it was her birthday.
Everyone in the photo looked extremely happy since they had grins wider than their faces could carry.
Before I could acknowledge the photo I heard sobbing coming from behind me.
"I ...really miss-s them," Ruby mangaed to say holding back tears.
The minute she said this my heart longed for her as I remembered my own family and how much I missed them.
So letting my feelings get the best of me alI ran to her side and hugged her.
"What happened to them?" I tried to ask but only made the whole situation worse.
I quickly squeezed her again, but this time to shut her up.
"T-they're dead."
My heart sunk.
"Damian took me i-in whem he found me left alone on the streets."
The poor girl.
"I guess Damian really is the savior around this place huh?" I commented still hugging her.
She nodded her head and soon after those heavy tears forced her eyes shut into a deep slumber.
~
The day went by fast with me just sitting in my room doing nothing.I went to dinner and afterwards I trailed the hall for a couple of minutes until I ended up in front of Damian's door.
What am I doing this is stupid...but I needed answers.
Damian needs to explain to me who he is or else in gonna lose my shit.
Convincing myself that I was right, I knocked on the door not caring that it was ten o'clock at night. Nothing.
