Jo Mullins had been working in the labs as Dr. Pritchard's assistant at the Avengers Facility when Steve Rogers brought Bucky Barnes to officially move in.
Like everyone else, she kept her distance, knowing that the ex-assassin only speaks to Steve and Sam.
Until one day, Bucky finds himself at the labs, partially against his will, being introduced to Jo.
Through spending time with Jo, Bucky learns that he doesn't have to be the man that fought alongside Captain America all those decades ago and he doesn't have to be the man that HYDRA created either.
He can just be him. A man good enough for Jo.
